Has anyone else seen this? I saw it yesterday and it was great! The most surprising thing for me, was that it was actually a little unpredictable and had a unique concept, whilst keeping the warmth and charm of classic Disney animations. All the songs were great and I think this is far better than the good (but overrated!) 'Tangled'. Olaf the snowman is absolutely adorable.

I've seen it twice! Brilliant film, Disney on form.

It's a shame it'll most likely be pushed aside to 'only shown in the run up to Christmas' status, I think I still prefer 'Tangled' (probably my favourite non-Pixar Disney (I'm old-school, I know)) but this is certainly ALMOST there especially since the ending isn't competely predictable!

My new all-time # 1 favourite cartoon. I can't believe, but "Frozen" is even better, than wonderful "Tangled".
It was pretty good, but the story felt slightly oddly paced and was very predictable. Let It Go is AMAZING though, like properly, properly BRILLIANT.
Let it go was a great song and I thought the movie would be pathetic (thought everything was cheap knock offs from other movies by trailer). Was one of the best films in recent years!
I saw it for the second time today in 3D. It is fantastic, I just purchased the soundtrack a few minutes ago on amazon :D
I've been kind of obsessed with Let It Go the last week, now that my Christmas playlist has been shelved for another 10 months.

The film did feel a bit paper thin and scattershot at times, but I liked the message (both the importance of sisterly love and female solidarity + the acceptance of the big gay other, exemplified by the diva-tastic Let It Go), the attempt at subversion (which seems to be part of the quota nowadays in a post Shrek world) and the rather adorable fact that Olaf the snowman dreamed of nothing more than summer (winter is a good time to stay in and cuddle, but put me in summer and I'll be a...HAPPY SNOWMAN!), but he did feel a bit one note, even more than usual for a sidekick character.

The animation and design of the kingdom was also pretty lovely on the whole (nothing is more evocative for me than a harbour town with creaking ships at anchor <3)

Saw this on Saturday and it was utterly amazing! 'Let It Go' was pretty incredible! *.*
Nope not yet, but that snow guy is really funny :D have to check this one out!

I really wasn't up for watching this at all, but oh my, it was great. Touching, funny and beautifully animated.

The whole Let It Go sequence was stunning and I've since watched it on Youtube about 20 times. Brilliant song, and I really hope it gets the Oscar.

Goodness, first "Paranorman" with their gayness and now "Frozen".

I'm kidding, this film is in another league for Disney films. It certainly will keep the gays and feminists happy :)

Well tbh it will make me even happier if Disney start doing fairytales with actual GAY characters for a change. Could be quite FUN :D

i never watched this, despite the fact it's all over the family movie channel over here

guess i'm not really missing out?

On ParaNorman? If yes, then you really are! It's a tremendously funny, witty and charming animated movie.

*gasps in shock*

and all this time i thought it was some sort of horror movie like they'd show on halloween or something

now i'm going to have to watch it next time it's on

5. Oaken's gay family

Hey, did you notice the gay character? I didn't either, until I went to see the film a second time. It turns out that giant man in "Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Sauna" is probably gay. When he throws in the sauna package for Kristoff, he turns to say "Hello, family!" and BAM! there they are.

The adult in the sauna is clearly implied to be his husband. Best yet, Oaken and his partner have a family — and it's not even a thing. In the few minutes that he's on screen, Disney manages to make a compelling character of Oaken. He is friendly to his customers and generous with his assistance. He's a savvy businessman who understands economics (supply and demand, Kristoff), and he isn't afraid to stand up for himself when Kristoff calls him a crook.
