Some of you may already be familiar with this tune thanks to BJSC, but those of you who haven't you need to listen to this right now. Route 94 with his debut single 'My Love' featuring Jess Glynne (who also appears on the new Clean Bandit track) could be a future chart hit, it's already showing up in the top 100 dance tracks on iTunes as a pre-order. It's a beautiful piano-house song, check it out and tell us what you think

I've heard this song lots of times, and I even heard it in the biggest club in Birmingham once. Here's a good remix (I posted it on here before):

At first I thought this was boring, but then I went to Skream, he played it and it was incredible (much like everything he played that night tho). APPARENTLY Route 94 is in fact an alias of someone well-known.

Ooh, I'm intrigued now. Imagine if it was someone who's not seen as credible like David Guetta or will.i.am.

Route 94 actually being Guetta/will.i.am would be hilarious  That would be a massive shock for the EDM community, I wonder how many would still be fans of R94 if they found that out.
iirc Route 94 is 'like Skream's little bro' so I'm SURE it's not David Guetta. If it was then I'd be questioning why Guetta's spent the last 6 years producing absolute shite.
Awesome stuff, I hope this smashes HARD!

If they're talking literally, it could Hijak, who is apparently is Skream's actual brother. Or perhaps Benga or Artwork. Skream and Benga have a show on Radio 1, and the three of them were all in Magnetic Man, so they're obviously good friends.

It could be Skream himself lol. When Latch was popular, there was a boiler room set of him and Disclosure going viral on Youtube, so he's obviously been moving away from dubstep to a more house-y sound for quite a while now. Also his latest solo single Rollercoaster was basically a disco track. Using a new alias would help any of these artists in the sense that it would stop all their old fans complaining whenever they releases a house song lol.

To be honest, most people that use the term "EDM" are clueless Americans, and probably have no idea who Route 94 is.

Kind of random, but on Rinse FM they said Route 94 is Dream (I never heard of him, but I looked him up and he was a dubstep producer). So that's another person who's quit dubstep.

It's got potential, but it is really repetitive!

I do think I'll end up loving this though, and it will be a big hit.

Jess Glynne to be this year's Pharrell Williams? (i.e. featuring on two of the year's biggest hits and releasing something equally massive later on in the year?

wtf is jess glyne anyway? i can't say i've liked anything she's put her vox too yet
I'm annoyed I never got this in BJSC; with Royals, Call Me Maybe etc, I loved and gave them points anyway so I didn't feel like a bandwagon jumper. But this totally passed me by and now I'm really really liking it.

Alex Wann has remixed the track for its 10th anniversary year, released on Positiva.

Mixes are also available on Rinse (the track's original label) by James Hiraeth and Vigro Deep.
