I have reduced the image to a suitable size and edited it in to remove the stretch. ^_^

No baiting each other please, the matter has been settled so we can move on.

I think they both look great in that picture, they both look so happy.

I've always found their use of the phrase "normal lads" a bit... ugh.
I suppose it would be big headed of them to say "The reason I think girls like us is because we're all ridiculously attractive and they want to sleep with us". No matter how true it is.

Props to the One Direction lads who kept the party going on Wednesday night.

Liam Payne and his stunning missus Sophia Smith were spotted leaving the Sony after party following One Direction's big win at the star-studded Brit Awards.

The cute couple got mobbed as they left the posh Arts Club where the record label was holding its official post-Brits bash.

The suited and stubbly boy bander offered a protective helping hand to his girlfriend, who was dressed in a pretty black frock, as they climbed into their waiting car.

Floppy haired Niall Horan was also seen hobbling out of the trendy club on crutches, and Harry Styles later followed suit.

Earlier in the night the Liam and his bandmates scooped the award accepted the Global Success Award for the second year in a row, but Harry Styles almost missed out on their moment in the spotlight.

Floppy haired Hazza was forced to literally sprint on stage after being caught short, telling the crowd: "Sorry, I was having a wee, the toilets are ages away."

Although he did managed to regain his composure to accept the prize which recognises the insane heights the hunky quintet have reached - the Global Success Award.

It means all the billions of Directioners around the world will still be smiling, even though the band missing out on the British Group and British Single trophies.

Despite also failing in their bid for the group prize last year, the band have once again been honoured for their incredible success - and we can't really argue that they deserve the recognition.

And they can't complain that much as they later also took home the Best British video trophy.

One Direction's Liam Payne has predicted that the group will attract more male fans with the release of their new album.

The singer - who appeared with his bandmates at the 2014 Brit Awards on Wednesday (February 19) - also hit back at critics who say that they "don't work hard".

One Direction: 'We're not splitting up, we're writing our next album'

Speaking to Capital FM, he said: "People say we don't work hard and it's all a game and whatever.

"We just wanna make good music, and this album - honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that. Literally, next album - pick up our album and see what you feel."

Interesting (re. the new album)! Must be a special sound they're going for then (more in the same vein of 'Little Black Dress'?)

They want to work with Pharrell, and considering that money isn't an issue for them, I can see that happening... I just can't imagine their sound with him.

I think what 1D need to work on now is having that one big huge single, I mean #1 worldwide and an album they can push 4-5 singles from.

Ooh, I'd be interested to see what they come up with alongside Pharrell (avoiding a collaboration on the actual song though).

Completely agree with you in that respect as well, there are so many golden songs on 'Midnight Memories' that could do with a single release, and they could easily push four or five singles out of the album. :( Hopefully with the next they're willing to push the boundaries a little if the début is a strong seller / peaks great worldwide.

I really want for them to collaborate with Disclosure or Rudimental for the next album, however (or them feature on either of the two's next albums). It'd be very interesting to see what comes out of that.

I completely agree

"Diana", "Happily" and "You & I" are waiting to be singles.

The Rudimental/Disclosure collab would be interesting. It'd be nice to hear them on a euphoric dance track.

Liam Payne has defended One Direction's strong work ethic, insisting the boyband work incredibly hard despite claims all they do is have fun.

The Little Things singer hit back at claims the group, who are frequently seen enjoying their fame, are all about fun and games rather than hard work.

"People say we don't work hard and it's all a game and whatever," he he told a reporter at the BRIT Awards last week.

Going on to encourage people to invest in their upcoming album as it will surely change their opinions, the 20-year-old added: "We just wanna make good music, and this album – honestly, every lad out there tonight who's thinking One Direction are this and that.

"Literally, next album – pick up our album and see what you feel," he told a reporter at the BRIT Awards last week.

The boyband are incredibly already working on their follow-up album to Midnight Memories and the Little Things singer revealed to Capital FM that he is predicting an influx of male fans.
