Whats the craic with Matrix & Futurebounds singles always rising later in the week of release or in some cases in the 2nd week lol?? Good to see anyway, itll maybe push it into the top 20 although they may be further down combined this week!!

Also, is that new Will.i.am song from his last album or a brand new track?

Very nice. Go Matrix! :cheer:

It will be interesting to see how quickly Sam falls now she's out of the Top 10. I give it 3 weeks more in the Top 40 max!

^^Itll prob be no1 too because sales are quite low and yet its a very generic effort!

The Vamps and Clean Bandit are both out the same week and doing better on pre-orders (actually 'Feelin' Myself' is slightly ahead of The Vamps' single pre-order right now but they have multiple versions and an EP as well), I think he'll still be top 5 though. Hoping Clean Bandit can be a shock #1 but I would honestly not be surprised if that week if another week at #1 for Pharrell. Pitbull currently looking like he might retake #1 again soon but I think 'Happy' will still have much better longevity than 'Timber'.

EDIT: Actually ignore all of that, will.i.am is released the week before them, whoops. I'm illiterate clearly. Should be at least top 3 then if not #1.

What on Earth at 'Control' going top 10 :o It seems to be increasing very quickly at the moment, any particular reason why? I don't object to them being top 10 and the song is quite good but it really should have been 'Magnetic Eyes' doing this well. Will probably miss the official top 10 though, a bit too late in the week a la Ray Foxx but with nothing of note out next week (again :() it might climb in there in its second week.

The release schedule has Will.I.Am out on the 13th and The Vamps and Clean Bandit a week later?

Is there any reason for Matrix & Futurebound always climbing later in the week? How strange that all their singles seem to do this. (and in the case of 'Magnetic Eyes', it didn't even peak until week 5!)

I was expecting it to stall at #13/#14 to be honest. It's still much lower combined but hopefully it has a shot at top 10 next week - doesn't look like there's much competition in the form of new releases.

I'd really don't want will at #1 I think its a poor effort from him, I just feel the #1 is going to be between Pitbull and Pharrell that week.

I don't want it to be #1 either, but it's gonna happen.

I think with Matrix & Futurebound the start of this week was heavily influenced by new year songs/gift card effects so songs like Counting Stars, ROar & the new year performers pushed ahead of the new entries but now as the new year wears off the new entries are climbing to where they would have been without the latter effect and also radio playlists are returning back to normal to playing things like Control (alisted at radio 1) & Little Me more often again!
I'd love will.i.am to go to #1 just for the lol factor of a song with Miley rapping about twerking and molly going to #1
I wouldn't be so sure about Will.I.Am going to #1, I wonder if people have grown tired of his production and Miley's schtick. Still I hope it makes it because it is a TUNE.

I think something will block Will and he'll stall at #2. Although having said that, it's released when The Voice returns so you never know! Maybe a multi-week #1! :D
They really should just cancel 'XO' everywhere and push 'Drunk In Love' instead. It's clearly the more popular song.

will.i.am didn't even produce 'Feelin' Myself'. It was produced by DJ Mustard (the guy who produced 'Rack City' and Kid Ink's 'Show Me'). I don't think 'Miley's schtick' is quite over yet either.

I agree. Is 'Drunk In Love' getting plays on music channels or is it really just that popular? Very surprised at how well it's holding up.
