For an album that hasn't fallen out of the top 10 yet, its doing well. The album deserves to be #1, I really thought he spend a week at #1 at one point considering the album hasn't left the top 10.

There is a special programme on Genesis tonight on BBC2, I expect their new album will get a boost next week.
Hang on... loving the large wad of Genesis and Phil Collins albums :o  Bre you need to start cataloguing the Genesis/Phil Collins albums for next week's chart  :drama:

8. Caribou - Our Love

34. Flying Lotus - You're Dead!

Caribou was top 5 earlier ;o

looks like a quiet week for big album releases, Hozier or Gorgon City *might* trouble the top 10 on low sales but who knows

Wow at Hozier...! I didn't think somebody with only a top 30 single would be in contention for a #1 album! I guess people are more interested in him as an artist than just in Take Me To Church.

alt-J had never charted higher than #59 before their #1 album  (and then reached a new dizzying peak of #58 in the same week).

Plus Bombay Bicycle Club, Collabro and Royal Blood have also never made the top 40 out of this year's #1 album artists. It's not really that rare.

Hozier does have a bit of hype around him even if the single is struggling to go top 20. It's only had radio 1 support really. I'd say it'll end up top 5 only - although I'm prepared to be surprised like with Royal Blood!

Welcome to the site!

This is just the iTunes album chart, not the official chart.

The official top 100 albums won't be revealed until the weekend – iTunes often gives a good indication of how an album will do/is doing though.

Take That - III (number 4 based on Pre Orders only...)

 9. Ella Henderson - Chapter One (Deluxe Version)

This has done incredibly well to climb back into the top 10 just on pre-orders! :o I think this should definitely get to #1 next week now. :D

1. Ella Henderson - Chapter One (Deluxe)

2. Jessie J - Sweet Talker (Deluxe)

3. Jessie Ware - Tough Love (Deluxe)

4. You+Me - rose ave.

Oh is Jessie J's album going to miss #1 again? Lol. Gwon Ella.

Seems likely we'll have at least an all new top 3 if not top 4 (Ella, Jessie and superior Jessie should all beat George Ezra's sales this week I'd have thought and possibly this You+Me thing as well with P!nk's fanbase and its consistent pre-order progress).

Are Slipknot or Ben Howard more likely to reach #1 next week?

Ben Howard for sure, Slipknot won't even be close.
