So here it is. The annual most predictable EOY chart ever. I shall be starting this very, very soon. Some surprises? Possibly. My charts are done on a mixture of their chart runs/peaks and how I generally feel about them now. So don't expect 'Love Me Again' despite 9 weeks in my top 50 and a peak #8, for two consecutive weeks.

Predictions? Who will come second in each chart? :o

Some great pop songs here! 'Popular Song'; 'Best Song Ever'; 'Alive' and 'On Top of the World'! We have quite a bit of a mixture in this section overall though. LorQueen makes her first of two appearances in my top 100 this year. Skylar Grey's, should-have-been-as-big-as-'Blurred Lines', smash hit, is at the top of the section. Not quite sure what happened to CLMR in all honesty, I had it down to be a massive, WW #1... Little Mix make the first of three appearances in here with the catchy, 'How Ya Doin'?' remix! Also a bit of dance in the name of Icona Pop, Rivaz and Zedd! Rivaz has been given a vocal mix for a 2014 release, I believe. Just listened for the first time, it's OK but it distracts too much from the glorious instrumental (which is what is charting here). It's going to take some getting used too, I think. The youtube link is above, so check it out!

Eager to see you charting Beyoncé higher than Britney & The Killers :mansoncheer:

087. Rudimental feat. Ella Eyre - Waiting All Night [30-12-10-10-16-25-35-42-47] - 9 Weeks

088. Avril Lavigne - Here's To Never Growing Up [4-3-3-2-5-10-11-15-22-29-33-36-46] - 13 Weeks

ALBUMS:

#41 - #50:

===

41. Jessie J - Alive [5-7-6-9] - 4 Weeks

42. The Saturdays - Living For the Weekend [3-6-9] - 3 Weeks

43. Girls' Generation - I Got A Boy [6-10-12-15] - 4 Weeks

44. Jessica Lee - Carried Away [5-7-8-9-9] - 5 Weeks

45. Kanye West - Yeezus [3-4-5-8] - 4 Weeks

46. Tegan & Sara - Heartthrob [4-7-9-11-11] - 5 Weeks

47. Noah & The Whale - Heart Of Nowhere [7-8-10-10] - 4 Weeks

48. Bruno Mars - Unorthodox Jukebox [14-11-12-13-15-X(5)-6-10-13] - 8 Weeks

49. Various Artists - Trance OST [5-6-10-10-10] - 5 Weeks

50. Eminem - Marshal Mathers LP II [8-10] - 2 Weeks **STILL CHARTING**

This section is usually filled with the big disappointments (Jessie, The Saturdays, Noah, Bruno) or the albums that took me off guard slightly (Girls G, Kanye) nice to see this year is no different really. Jessica Lee makes a debut with her top 5 effort, 'Carried Away'. She was BJSC potential (I think it was the month I sent Kato, which spent three weeks at number 1 for me, so I think I made the right choice personally). A nice little pop album though, the sort of album a youtube star would make and release to get their name out there. The 'Trance' OST makes an appearance. The film was good, could have been better, but it was very stylish and the music accompanied it perfectly. Eminem makes it on, despite only getting around to listening to it very recently.

Nothing thus far has got my dander up Jonjo dear. :(

I just want the most unlikely duet to happen, but it won't ever happen (unless it's at the Brits or something), Justin and Brandon/The Killers (either/or I don't mind!) *.*

One of my dream duets came true when Calvin Harris announced that a Calvin/Brandon collabo is real and is being released in early 2014.

Justin+Brandon/The Killers, I can't see that happening unfortunately :( but I heard from a source that Britney Spears feat. Brandon Flowers - Don't Cry (Single Version) is actually happening :kink:

OMG. WHAT?! Brandon going to be relevant again in 2014?

I know. I know. We can hold out for The Brits this year though, right? :kink:

Colors is the highlight so far, great to see it here :D I'm not sure what the vocal mix was in aid of, I can't see it getting a push here but the instrumental is iconic

So low for Applause! And I'd forgotten all about that Kleerup/Loreen single, it was 'nice' for a couple of weeks for me and that's it.

So here is the BIGGY Avicii, already! Cracking song, but airplay has kinda killed all momentum of it for me, but I haven't entirely gone off it. Little Mix show up for the 2nd time out of 3, their last entry will feature (much) later on! The first of three tracks for CHVRCHES too. This is their only song to go top 40 officially so far! 'Cups' by Anna Kendrick should have been the hit it was in the US! Up and coming R&B starlett, Zendaya, features with her debut single, 'Replay', which is starting to climb US iTunes again recently! Pitbull & Ke$ha's 2014 smash hit, 'Timber' makes an appearance. Had I left it to the 2014 countdown it probably would have been higher, but it's had a pretty brilliant chart run in 2013 so I had to include it (although it peaked this week so far at #9!). One Direction and Rihanna smash straight in with some of their personal bests. Bo Bruce and Fifth Harmony appear with their debut singles and The Saturdays 'What About Us', makes an appearance. Sometimes I love it, sometimes I find it a bit too generic and meh. They have a much better song coming up! Cher Lloyd, P!nk and Avril make welcome returns to my EOY chart <3
