So reports, as of November 7th, suggest that MKS could be going after the rights to the name they created.

Well it's not as if 4.0 need it.

I personally don't think they should actually go for it. The name has been seriously tarnished by the turmoil, line-up changes, rumours and that super epic comeback that was Freedom.

"Freedom" wasn't perfect, but was a good choice for comeback single. Especially after such bad previous choices for the first singles (Hi "Freak Like Me", "Get Sexy", "Hole In The Head" )

Silas, you just hate Heidi Range and sometimes you are even worse, than Pavel.

Silas didn't specify Heidi in that at all... It's a fact the name means a lot less than it did before because there's been so many line-up changes that people don't care anymore. They won't be successful with either name to be honest, even with amazing music like Flatline :( I think it would do them more harm to change actually.

Never in a million years would I expect somone to hate Hole In The Head.. Flawless song!

I don't think they should go for The Sugababes though, MKS is fine as it is and there's no problems with that name (yet)

The choice of 'Freak Like Me' as a first single was career saving. Flawless single choice was flawless!

'Freak Like Me' and 'Hole In The Head' are vastly superior to 'Freedom'. There's a reason why two of those were #1 hits, and why one was a free download.

I'm in two minds about this. I want the Sugababes name to continue and release pop smashes but I'm just not excited about MKS at all and that wouldn't change if they were called the Sugababes.

'Freak Like Me' and 'Hole in the Head' might not be your taste but how on earth can you say they were bad choices for first singles? That's just not a matter of taste, it's fact that they were both brilliant choices. Like Jay said 'Freak' saved their career and 'Hole in the Head' was a #1 hit as well.

I, errr, never mentioned Heidi like at all. I've said a number of times that I only ever got into the band when Heidi arrived. Three is my all time favourite album for christ sake!

Oh, and Freak is perfection. It's basically the only reason the girls had a career in the first place.

They should just stick with the name Mutya Keisha Siobhan and let the other 3 be the Sugababes (if they return to it)

Yeh yah *yawn*

Are they trying this again since the current name seems to be generating next to no interest...
