So Demi Lovato's original version of "Skyscraper" beats the Sam Bailey version by eighteen places, the song was pushed into the limelight by constant usage on The X Factor this year, I know this song has huge fans, but to me it's very tame. Skyscraper finishes higher than Diamonds as it recieved four "+5"s compared to Rihanna's one.

Another 2012 leftover, with the former, and both Labrinth & Sandé's only Reshuffle #1, but in 2013 it was coming to the end of its T10 run, and got a final negative vote, ironically it was only in February time when i "got" the song, now it's one of my favourites from 2012. Weird how it takes some songs longer to grow on you, isn't it?

Gabrielle Aplin managed to make sure she wasn't a one-hit wonder this year, good for her! Gotta say i do like a bit of Gabrielle, she's a bit like Christina Perri whom I also like, but less annoying than Birdy. I also like this song, I don't love it but it's nice enough. PDSYLM finishes higher than BYB as it recieved two "+5s" compared to Labrinth's none.

Fall Out Boy managed that nowadays rare feat of getting a rock single top 10, by making it OA/OS, which seemed to work for them, lauching it into the top 10, before it plummeted to settle lower down in the charts, I also think that the song has done better on this chart than I would have predicted, but I'm glad because I really like it.

The first song on our list to have more positive votes than negative, still getting a negative score though as most of the positves votes were around +1 or +2, whilst the negatives were the -4s or -5s. David Bowie returns to the T10 after a twenty year absence ("Jump They Say" #9 1993), although he did appear on the #1 "Perfect Day". The song is quite middling, but i'm not the a mega-Bowie fan to begin with, barring about four songs. WAWN finishes higher than MSKWYDITD as it recieved four "+1s" compared to Fall Out Boy's three. Very close that one.

I guess it's influenced by what music you prefer. I was a big fan of Wiley's latest album so I remember all the singles well. What A Night was memorable only in that a BGT finalist actually got a Top 10 single, only other time was SuBo with Wild Horses if I recall correctly? On My Way only stuck in my memory simply because it was SO painfully average & possibly one of the most boring top 10's in a long, long time. I do agree with you about the likes of Rewind, Beautiful Life etc. however.
