"Young Blood" is a beautiful song... maybe it works better in remix form for you though. ;) I think "Wanderlust" is going to be Sophie's "Seventh Tree / Tales Of Us / Abbey Road Sessions" type of album (dance acts going a bit MOR ala Goldfrapp or Kylie).

It's not so much I have a problem with the genre of music she's doing, I'm just not convinced based on what I've heard that she can actually pull it off.

I'm still gonna buy the album and give it a fair chance though.

How is this doing so well :o I mean I know it's amazing but I'm so surprised to see the public get behind it like this.

I wouldn't say its doing that well, given that Gorgon City are out the same week and they're top 100 on pre-orders but I do hope people do get behind this and radio 1 get it a listed and makes it the hit it deserves as long as it goes top 10 I will be happy

88. Deeper - Ella Eyre

Sound of 2014 seems to have given decent boosts to all of the top 5 so far (George, Sampha, BANKS and Ella all getting EPs fairly high in the album chart + Sampha and Ella making the singles feed top 100). Wonder if Sam Smith could make the albums top 10 / singles top 40 tomorrow after his inevitable win?

Sam's album isn't out til May, unless you're talking about the pre-order.

Ella Eyre's song is so good, I don't get why they released it so quickly and on Christmas week of all weeks! It would've at least gone Top 100 if they'd waited til now.

Only a few months ago she seemed completely irrelevant. This seeming sure to go top 5 = amazing and it's climbed about 60 places in a day, could easily challenge for #2.

I wouldn't have said it's looking like a certain top 5 hit at all based on its current position, although if it is climbing as fast as you say (haven't really been paying attention to its progress, I just know I haven't seen it in the top 200) then maybe. Don't really want to get my hopes up too much.

Evening update: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=4552371

The only stumbling block will be if it turns out to be one of those pre-orders that are more fanbase-driven than a sign of general public love. Which with a blog act is not inconceivable.

Crying for No Reason is VERY strong song for me and I don't use her at all ever... this is different... it will be doing good.
'Flatline' used on Big Brother. I expect #1 next update and will be disappointed with anything less.

Well....you'd better get the tissues out ready. :P

Sub Focus - Turn Back Time  #12. Look out Garrix, The Sub is coming for you!

I'm surprised Fuse ODG is still so high, I thought it would have tumbled down the charts by now!

Britain loves a girl who's badder than bad!

23. Rather Be (feat. Jess Glynne) - Clean Bandit *pre-order*

This WILL be number 1. Songs can't get this high on pre-order and not make it to number 1, especially when there is still another week of pre-orders to go.

There's a difference between getting there when the pre-order first comes out on fanbase alone and climbing up there due to general public demand though. I can't think of any other songs that have gone this high on non-fanbase pre-orders and failed to get #1.

I'm not exactly sure where she was earlier this week but she was around 500 or so so she's def taken off this week - b listed at radio 1 now so people are obv liking it!

Radio 1 isn't the only measure of success on radio translating into iTunes preorders though - it's been played loads on commercial radio for example :P
