It's been obvious for months now that he's the one that killed her lol. Dealing her drugs, smacking her one for not paying up in time, dead in the woods. End of story.

I am not shocked Nick is alive, i dont think the phone call was long enough for Carol to work that out though so the reveal was slightly disappointing and under used.
