I've noticed a noticeable change between Sharon now and the how she was in 2005, around the time I first started watching Eastenders. She seemed to be happier back then whereas now she looks rough and miserable all the time (I suppose it could be to do with her being with Dennis back in 2005 - aka the love of her life). I think the only reason I like Sharon now is because I still have my initial memories of her being in the show.

My gran thinks exactly the same (as do I). There was nothing special about her comeback and there's nothing special about them trying to make her a manipulative and dangerous bitch now.

Agreed - hopefully they do have some sort of affair because they suit each other far more than Lola does Peter and Jay does Abi (even if Peter is hotter :kink:).

I'm really loving Eastenders at the moment. I do think an affair between Jay and Lola could work if handled correctly and builds up over time. They have great chemistry.

 

Plus yes, Letitia Dean is the campest thing ever. I remember seeing her in a pantomime when I was around 10 years old.

I think it is. My theory is him and "Charlie" are planning on doing something (yet AGAIN) to try and fleece Dot of what little money she has.

I'm still convinced Lucy's death will be fake too. Perhaps we can expect more "fake deaths" in the lead up to a big 30th anniversary storyline, with someone behind it all.
