Loving EE this year so far! Every time Johnny comes on my screen i smile Sam is doing such an amazing job! I hope he wins best newcomer or whatever award it is at the british soap awards! And here is hoping for more #Penter scenes next week or soon!

I noticed that too! One for 'Greatest TV Mistakes' programme that comes on BBC3.

As has been already pointed out, it has Shirley's idea for revenge and a 'sassy' exit to embarrass him. If Shirley had not intervened, Kirsty would have been drinking and obsessing over Max still.

I am quite aware of the plot, thank you. What I am saying is that it wasn't true to Kirsty's character in the slightest.

The only thing that WOULD be true to her personality is her sniffing around Max until one of them drops dead. She had to exit somehow. Better to go with a small dash of empowerment (and a lovely Audi cabriolet) than begging on her knees, no?

I'd rather her in a coffin!

 

(I don't actually dislike her as much as this is making out.)

Just caught up on yesterday's episode. Finally things inevitably ending between Masood/Carol and Sonia back! It's a shame we only briefly saw Sonia though. I think the EE writing missed an opportunity of a two-hander episode tomorrow. Either between Carol and Bianca or Carol and Sonia about the cancer, family history, her fears etc.

The difference being that The Carters are a likeable family portrayed by brilliant actors. The Brannings are absolute crap.

All of the Brannings are / were terrible apart from Lauren and Kirsty. :kink:

I'm liking that the producers have mixed up a racist storyline and had a Muslim character discriminating against a British white, it's not something that usually happens when soaps tackle these storylines.

I wish Martin was back even if it was just for a few episodes, it would have made that episode quite fitting nice seeing Becky again all grown up but on the whole that episode was rather good.

 

That Shabnam creature just needs to go as soon as.

At last...a producer who knows what they're doing! I haven't enjoyed EE this much since Diederick Santer left! And the ratings are getting better and better

 

You can see how much DTC loves the show and as for tonight's episode, just brilliant long may these twists continue as its got me hooked and as a viewer I don't want to read the TV guides and know what's happening like how there's still no explanation for Stacey's return so I'm hoping for big things
