The fire going by spoilers is initially coming across as an under-used storyline. I feel they could have taking the arson out of the storyline, and have a simple accident causing the fire which is what often happens in real life, while it may sound harsh killing off one of the twins could have been used to highlight the importance of been vigil in a house and the impacts a simple thing like a candle can change peoples lives forever. This type of storyline would also provide the storyline department to write some very touching and real drama that would interest viewers, Kat and Alfie as a couple would have a strong emotional storyline out of this.

Alfie is a pain in the arse, he has annoyed me for some time now, did someone not remind him that there is other place to apply for jobs outside albert sqaure, he has a car to travel to work and also has access to transport.

I think out of everyone I feel the most sorry for Linda. I am dreading watching the rape scene.

OMg this!!!

Always hated him!

ikr  as if the walking box would have fit into that.

OMG this!! Ahahaha!!

She IS a Walking Box!

And ahhh that's why she;s in the bath in the trailer, tryna get clean!

Just posted in the Celebrity RIP thread. Sad news about John Bardon who played Jim Branning. Hope they give him a lovely tribute!

So sad to hear John Bardon passing away, I guess it be written in the script at some point, just to tie up the character some how, Dot will probably receive bad news but we won't see the character.

Well, duh! It is sad that he's passed away, I was hoping Jim would be able to return to Eastenders full time at some point. Not sure when it will be written into the show if Dot's got all this business with Nick soon. Tonight's episode will be dedicated to him though.

That 'Everybody Hurts' trailer gives me chills - it's so simply yet so haunting! :o

RIP to John Bardon. I hope they give him a tribute week for Jim like they did with Frank after Mike Reid died.

I think that would be really fitting. I could see Robbie returning and probably Jack too (maybe Bianca since she'll be gone at that time).

Just seen that trailer for the first time! Loving EE at the moment

I wonder who's blood that is on Sharon's dress and how it gets there...this next few months are going to epic!

Though the whole Alfie/Billy desperate for cash for their family thing is getting very very boring now, I kind of hope Shane Ritchie might be leaving with this storyline especially now that Stacie's back maybe

Rae Morris played in the background of Eastenders. She's made it *.*
If Alfie doesn't die in this f***ing fire it was the mother of all wasted opportunities.
"its half a sparkly curtain"

oh Shirley you queen, please never change

:cheer:

I don't think he will. I have a horrible feeling it will be one of the twins and Kat will be severely injured.

Poor Kat!!!! Although, is it cruel I laughed at Mo crying because she is probably only thinking about all the stock she has lost

Really couldn't be arsed with Alfie feeling sorry for himself

Was quite shocking and sad seeing Kat at the end; I knew the burns would be bad but I wasn't expecting it to be over every part of her body showing.

I like that the fire wasn't too dramatic or took up the majority of the episode. It shows that it wasn't just to get the viewing figures up for one episode and that the main focus of the story is to see the journey of how Kat deals with her burns.
