Might be some truth in this, as normally I'm sure they announce a return date my now. HOWEVER I expect they would postpone by weeks and not months, rather like what happened to The Leftovers last summer.

I wouldn't actually mind a later starting date, means I might not have uni finals for the entirety of while it's airing. It'll do amazingly whenever it's released to be honest, if they need to keep it back a bit to make sure everything's perfect with the production I'm okay with that, even if we do have to wait a little bit longer for some surely phenomenal episodes.

Return date confirmed for 12th April!

 

Been catching up as fast as i can recently - not reading many posts in here in case there are spoilers, but will re-read the entire thread once i'm done with the season.

 

Just finished 'The Mountain and the Viper' :mellow: Just when i think they've shocked me enough they come out with THAT. I literally squealed at the end of the episode. This season as a whole has been very gripping and it's showing no signs of letting go yet. Gahhh.

Season 4 is without a doubt the best season yet <3

I've finished the season now! Had me gripped right until the last second (though episode 9 was a bit of a lull for me). Can't wait to power through season 5 and finally be able to rejoin civilisation and take part in conversations about it without fearing spoilers :D

 

The Bran storyline suddenly turned very 'Pan's Labrinth' both in terms of the plot and styling of it, but I'm not complaining because i adore that. Interested to see how it plays out, especially against the harsh realism of every other storyline.

I still think Season 3 is the best. The Red Wedding will take some topping in terms of pure shock.

Haha, I smiled as I read this as I had the exact same reaction. When justice was done I felt I had closure with had happened before and had a few days break from binge watching it. The events at the end of this season wrecked me again though... :(
