January 13, 201411 yr Author 'Fashion!' and 'Swine' i can't get into. The former is just weak, the latter really annoys me now. Off the previous albums, i never got into 'Fashion of His Love' (though hearing it live improved it vastly for me) and her early ballads were pretty dire too. 'Brown Eyes' being the worst.
January 13, 201411 yr Chronologically (and only official songs): Brown Eyes Summerboy Speechless So Happy I Could Die Teeth Government Hooker Scheiße Heavy Metal Lover You & I Jewels & Drugs all 2/10 or worse, indeed Speechless, So Happy I Could Die, You & I and Jewels & Drugs are ALL -1 worthy. I hate her voice on ballads, it just sounds awful and totally puts me off ever wanting to listen to them. Jewels & Drugs is pretty self explanatory really.

January 13, 201411 yr I've been WAITING for such a thread for YEARS, not that I don't use any Gaga thread as an opportunity to lay into said songs anyway, but I don't want to come off as a HATER. I really do WANT her to come with an amazing and iconic ballad, but as time goes on I think I'm just destined to hate them all. Granted it has been about 4 years since I built up the courage to listen to SHICD, but it's the prime example of my Gaga vocal hatred.

I agree with John in that ballads just don't work for her, I'm not sure if it's the songs themselves or her just not being able to pull them off very well but they're not her strong point.
January 13, 201411 yr Teeth and So Happy I Could Die both ruin an amazing EP of songs. On Born This Way, Fashion of His Love and Highway Union are both turds. ARTPOP has that weird section which it dips significantly in quality following 'Do What U Want', but picks up again with 'Dope'.
January 13, 201411 yr Author :( And 'Highway Unicorn (Road 2 Love)' i would have agreed with when the album first came out. But opening the Born This Way Ball like THAT on the giant horse and it just shot up into my top few off the album. Lyrics aside it's damn special.

January 13, 201411 yr I can't remember the album tracks from The Fame or Born This Way so this is mainly based on Artpop and the singles. The Fame Monster contains no bad tracks. January 13, 201411 yr Jewels & Drugs is pretty horrific. Also not keen on Again Again or Retro Dance Freak (although that's just a Japanese bonus iirc). What even is this You & I and Speechless shade?! I love Swine and Teeth too among others in this thread :( but then the three I mentioned are really her only tracks I'm not keen on.

January 13, 201411 yr I can't understand the hate for 'Heavy Metal Lover' and 'So Happy I Could Die'. They might be my two favourites from her!
