That I found incredibly irritating as I love the Coca Cola mix but the slower version isn't that great for me. Luckily I import the Swedish compilation series Absolute Music (which also has 3 issues a year) and they tend to include the correct edits and fill the gaps in my collection that used to be filled by the now defunct Hits series. Apologize was another, they included the One Republic album version instead of the hit Timbaland version :(

Apologize (the Timbaland mix) was featured on Now 25 Years eventually. But i agree, Now Music do sometimes get the track versions wrong (see Taio Cruz).

Interesting & fun news. Now Music have uploaded nearly all the NOW Music adverts from NOW 1-77 on their YouTube page. If anyone is interested in reliving TV adverts from back then click here

The advert for Now 44 brings back so many memories

I hope it get's Jessie more sales, as people who don't like rap will buy it :). This album is really good, hate the Taio/Travie duet though. Where's Kylie? <_<
They might make Jessie 'album only', they quite often do with Now exclusive edits/previously unavailable songs and versions I think. I'm not sure that I like her solo version as much to be honest, the 'la la la' middle 8 sounds a bit shoehorned in, which is odd as guest raps usually have that effect

I'm still confused why B.o.B is on this version, the guy has been on the NOW series before.

Just seen the tracklisting. The ommissions of BTW and SLY are bizarre, BTW I appreciate may be something to do with GaGa's label as I don't see any other reason it'd be missed out, but if RITD is on there SLY should be also. (I assume the tracklisting was announced after SLY got to #1)

Also, customary WTF at the inclusion of Who Dat Girl, it looks like going top 100 this week but won't be anywhere near top 40.

I would have liked to have seen Nicole "Don't Hold Your Breath" instead of "Poison" as I don't like DHYB enough to buy it but I want it - will have to wait until now 79 :(

I hope they don't. Although I much prefer the BoB version, the La La La bit just sounds lazy.

Out today. I got my copy, I actually really like it. It's been really good for music reccently IMO. I have changed my mind about "Price Tag", I really like the La La La bit, although the song feels really empty without the beginning bit(Moonheads ect ).

Here's the cover & tracklisting for Now 38 (US). They managed to get "Born this Way" and "Coming Home". Lucky!
They really should stop putting 4 songs that nobody cares about on the end of those US Now albums. Great promotion for those artists, but I wouldn't be overly happy if four hits were being removed from ours in favour of songs like those by no hope artists. I wonder if ANY of the 'bonus' tracks from past volumes have ever gone on to become hits?

Great to see Adele on the US one!!! :o :cheer:

And I love how typical tracks #10 and #11 are.

Wasn't Agnes - Release Me included on a previous US volume Rich? Would you have stopped the US Public hearing this epic track that I know you have just because US radio is biased against dance music?

It was, but I just doubt that many people pay much attention to the bonus tracks. As a consumer paying full price for a compilation album, I'd prefer to see a few more hits on it instead of some shoehorned on unknown tracks because various record company's have paid for a slot on them in the hope of getting some promo. It's bad enough that the US Now albums are only 1 disc, but now down to only 16 actual hits?

It's really nice for those artists to get a bit of recognition but imo it's taking away from the spirit of why the albums exist in the first place - a staple of popular culture at that moment in time. Short of a select few, nobody in the US who owns this compilation will pull the album out in 15 years and say 'wow Release Me really takes me back to 2009' just as I won't pull out Now 78 in 15 years and say 'wow, Who Dat Girl really takes me back to 2011' Maybe its nice to have these more random songs in my collection, but I'd sooner have Love The Way You Lie, Born This Way or Coming Home on it instead as I do tend to go back and listen to old Now's and indulge in all of the old hits/memories.

Track listing: TBA

Really disappointed about Now Love, but Now Running looks interesting.

Perhaps it's an excuse to put My Heart Takes Over on a Now compilation because it probably won't be appearing on Now 81 :drama:

Hardly classic love songs though are they, the majority of these, or even related to it

that's why UMTV release those Pop Princesses albums.

Perhaps the WORST love songs collection EVER! My sister bought a love songs CD from a charity shop four years ago (and it was probably made a few years before that), and it's still more relevant to the theme than this

Loving that Cheryl appears three times though :kink:

And Rihanna has another double appearance. She must get a nice cheque from Now Music that's for sure.

I think they were originally going to go all out for it and then couldn't afford to get Sony/Warner to contribute, so they got stuck
