So crazy so many people watch this Superbowl thing. wot. A huge drop from last year though, must be said!

At least it will help New Girl and B-99 now a bit. Maybe bought them an extra season.

Superbowl had an average of 111.5m viewers in the end so is the highest rated ever in terms of viewers and most watched TV show in US history.

Edited by Connor.

Crazy to think how the ratings might have been even higher had the game actually had two teams playing well!

Wow New Girl was comparatively high in comparison to the Superbowl, was actually some sort of competition!

Not sure why HIMYM is so popular. It just isn't funny or realistic. It's like a comedy made by amateur high school screenwriters, it's atrocious.

It wasn't competition it aired after the SuperBowl post game, which only got 18.1 so it actually had pretty great retention.

New Girl did a lot better than I expected, Fox did a good job of starting it at a decent time.

Monday finals

3.8 How I Met Your Mother

2.7 Mike & Molly

2.4 Mom

1.9 Almost Human

0.4 Beauty & the Beast

Strange adjustment for HIMYM to equal last week. Another great night for CBS, "Mom" is looking like their strongest new comedy as of late (taking into account factors such as The Millers having TBBT lead-in).

3.0 NCIS

2.9 NCIS LA

2.2 The Biggest Loser

2.1 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

2.1 Person of Interest

1.7 The Goldbergs

1.6 New Girl

1.5 Dads

1.4 Brooklyn Nine-Nine

1.1 Supernatural

1.0 Trophy Wife

0.8 The Originals

0.7 Killer Women

Nice to see the Fox comedies benefiting from the increased exposure...

Yay at PoI being up again (even if it was the least good episode in some time). Hopefully SHIELD adjusts up again, that was easily the best episode of the entire show so far.
I know the full viewing figures hardly mean anything to the networks but it's strange to see SHIELD and PoI get the same 18-49 rating even though PoI had 12.14m viewers and SHIELD had 6.54m.

omg so many old people watch PoI oops

Most 10PM shows skew older anyway, but yeah comics/superhero type stuff was always going to skew much younger than a crime procedural (though that's not actually what PoI IS, but I'd guess most people think it is).

It's the same for all CBS shows.
Yeah CBS skews super old. It's really freaky. They have the highest viewer numbers year in year out.

This is true, but with stuff like NCIS and Criminal Minds it's not surprising. They don't require (or really REWARD) viewing them in order or as they air so it's easy for OLD FOLKS to keep up.
