February 3, 201411 yr During The Artist is Present when Marina and Ulay are reunited o god  and the entirety of Dancer in the Dark Edited February 3, 201411 yr by JakeWild
February 4, 201411 yr When the credits roll at the end of Children of Men and you hear the sound of children laughing which I interpreted as you KNOWING IT'S GONNA BE OKAY/they've saved the world. Although the whole film is so immersive and then intense towards the end, I might have been shedding a few tears a fair while before that oops. Genuinely the only time I've cried recently though, about anything.
February 4, 201411 yr Father figures crying over the loss/disappearance of their children gets me the most. EVERYTIME. Ewan McGregor in 'The Impossible' and Hugh Jackman in 'Prisoners' are the most recent examples! Also the last 15 minutes or so of 'The Boy In Striped Pyjamas'! But the one which got me the most is 'Hachi'! God, I was such a wreck when I saw that! It still saddens me just thinking about it :(
February 4, 201411 yr 2k7lcORrk_s As I mentioned in the Pixar thread, The closest I've come to crying at a movie recently, even the most cynical side of me that knew Pixar would never end a film like that was unsure for a minute. Bambi's mother dying gets me emotional too, I don't cry at movies much, but Disney does get to me sometimes. Edited February 4, 201411 yr by Chez Wombat
February 4, 201411 yr Disney movies like Bambi, The Lion King, Frank and Frey all get to me. I nearly start crying every god damn time... When Bambi's mother dies, when he's finally happy, when Simba's father dies, when Nala finds him in the jungle (Can You Feel The Love Tonight  ), when Simba becomes king, when Kiara starts falling in love with Kofu, when Kofu is exiled from the kingdom, the end of TLK2.. All moments that had me nearly crying Also one that had me a wreck is Hachi. Such a sad movie and this is one of the few movies where I couldn't hold my tears back I don't cry/show emotions often, but these get to me for some reason. Edited February 4, 201411 yr by *Tim
February 4, 201411 yr the start of "Up" no dialogue, a life in 2 minutes, so sad. The film hasn't even started and already crying...!
February 4, 201411 yr Author 2 that i forgot are: marley and me- when marley is dying. when ever i watch that now, i have to leave about 10 or 15 minits before the end and the other one is the sceen in girl interupted where daisy is dead, and she's playing that song on the repeat.. the end of the world bambi does get me, " you can't live with your mother forever", really brings it home.
February 4, 201411 yr and the entirety of Dancer in the Dark This. Great movie, but what an emotional rollercoaster. No wonder Björk didn't really enjoy doing it. Edited February 4, 201411 yr by Mattias
February 4, 201411 yr This scene from Junebug lEYKH3rv2bQ I tend to get teary eyed in alot of movies, but that one scene in Junebug really gets me. Edited February 4, 201411 yr by Regina
February 4, 201411 yr I tend to cry more at TV shows than movies (having more time to build up feelings/becoming invested in characters) but the final scenes of Gladiator get to me every time, damn you Hans Zimmer and your fabulously manipulative soundtrack.
February 5, 201411 yr Not many films get me but this is heartbreaking Tpwf7dBg8Yo LR4j8iWu-OI Mainly because we know the history that is yet to happen
February 5, 201411 yr I think the ONLY TIME I got upset at a movie was in Happy Feet when Mumble got separated from his mum when he was a chick :( Edited February 5, 201411 yr by G R I F F
February 6, 201411 yr OH NO the bit in Kung Fu Panda 2 where Po gets separated from his mum (AGAIN) left me really distraught. It's all a bit too embarrassing *blushes*
February 8, 201411 yr Prayers for Bobby. It's LGBT themed movie. That is the only movie I've cried every time I watched it.
