So, am I the only one who loves the Armenian entry?

It's going to be Armenia X Ukraine believe it or not! :w00t:

Armenia is one of my favourite songs too and I still believe it will win even though many people are discounting it now.
What really is the hype behind Ukraine other than a sympathy vote? Possibly top 10 cause I've heard it's got interesting staging and it's fairly wide-appealing but it really shouldn't be in contention to win.
I just don't get the Armenian song plus I don't like Aram! I do think he will win or come a close second but I really hope I'm wrong. 60th anniversary in Armenia boooo
I think Ukraine has a shot at anywhere between 3 and 10 on the night but yeah I don't see it winning.

I'm surprised anybody's calling it a definite win for anyone. I genuinely can't remember the last time it was this wide open - even 2011 had a feeling of certainty to it, even if it was totally misplaced in France.

At this point I'd actually say it feels like we're the most likely winners. But even then I'd only say it feels like a 40% chance.

Even with it being wide open though I wouldn't put Ukraine in there at all. It's not a winning song. Respectable placing in the lower half of the top ten I'd guess but I'd be shocked if it was doing any real damage in the top three.

The UK's odds are continuing to shorten, 9/1 is now the maximum price on Oddschecker with the majority of bookmakers offering 7/1 and 8/1. Armenia's odds are actually shortening a little bit too which is the first time in a long time that that has happened.

8/1 now max for uk - 2nd rehearsal was great [dont like the shoes though haha]

Hopefully she can overtake sanna ;p

I can see the odds for Armenia and in particular Sweden lengthening if they draw first half after they qualify this evening.
Sanna dropping :P I think if sanna and Aram end up in the first half tonight then Molly's odds will be pretty similar to those that Sweden n Armenia currently have!

So after the first semi final, here are the latest odds for the top 15 using the best odds available according to Oddschecker: (the arrows refer to the country's previous position the last time I posted a full odds update)

For countries with the same odds I've just based the order on what Oddschecker have. Romania also have 66/1 but are the lowest in the order.

I wonder if Sweden and Armenia's odds will both begin to lengthen after their first half draw. I think Hungary are going to shorten very quickly!

odds?

Iceland passed and doesnt have neighbours, thats odd.

You can't have been following the contest too closely if you think not having neighbours is an insurmountable obstacle to qualifying. Particularly given Iceland have done it every year since 2008 now.
