We had some songs credited like that in the charts last year. For example Earthquake which was DJ Fresh & Diplo ft. Dominique Young Unique. There was also a song which was Calvin Harris & Alesso ft. Hurts. Also all of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis's songs had features.

'Earthquake' was actually DJ Fresh vs. Diplo feat. Dominique Young Unique :P 'Dibby Dibby Sound' has the same credit as well (though the other 2 artists are different obvz).

But this is unique because the creditings I listed were medleys. Lorde performed "Royals" but not "White Noise" (and AlunaGeorge not "Royals"), while Bastille did "Pompeii" and parts of "Waiting All Night" but Ella Eyre didn't sing "Pompeii". The latter performance was more of a medley with remnants of a mashup.

Yes, it was from that deletion that we learned that the iTUnes chart wasn't the 48hr rolling chart most had hitherto presumed it to be. Did anyone determine what it was? I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on this version to see when it disappears.

 

I *wondered* WTF Happy had appeared to have dropped, despite the Brits performance!

 

I don't think we can rule out the rolling 48 hours option though. Record companies must surely have the option of requesting immediate removal - cases involving copyright infringement could be one example...

If the live version of XO was put on iTunes it could have had a chance at top 10 officially this week, but now I'm not sure.

 

I can't believe even 1+1, I Was Here, Diva and Why Don't You Love Me are top 1500, yet the masterpieces Video Phone and Ego aren't. :(
