February 23, 201411 yr The current odds have Sanna, Alcazar and Anton as the top three. I can't imagine a finer scenario than seeing Sanna and Alcazar battling it out for the ultimate prize. They've both made a pretty good start on iTunes (#13 for Alcazar and #18 for Sanna) so hopefully it will return them to the upper reaches of the charts for the first time in an age too.

February 23, 201411 yr I'd be very surprised if Alcazar won it. I don't see the juries going for it in their droves, even if the public have suddenly decided to love them again. It doesn't exactly represent the sound of contemporary Sweden and I think eyebrows would be raised if it turned up at Eurovision. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, but it's the sort of song that the UK would deem 'a perfect Eurovision entry', hence it would probably crash out in the semis or finish at the bottom of the final. Stay The Night was the same sort of song but had a more modern edge to it, the production was far less OTT and the vocals less high pitched.

February 23, 201411 yr One of the tracks on that JEM EP rips off Scream And Shout so shamelessly. It's not actually that good, but I do like 'Zoom' (which I'd heard before JEM even joined MF anyway).
