It all started SO WELL.

So well. I always said this could smash, *IF* it got the radio support, which it isn't.

If they do playlist it next week, that might save it from being a catastrophe. C-C-release hindered Disco Love's success and exposure quite a bit I think - but at least Capital had been giving it some attention already by now. This song is getting virtually no support.

They should be doing as much appearances at radios' as possible right now!
It's a good job that this is held back. Imagine if it was a typical post album release? It would probably have been struggling to go top 100 at this point.

That's such a good way to get radios to play their singles! Pixie pretty much squeezed any plays as possible of Nasty by going to EVERY station possible! Imagine how much worse it would've been if she hadn't 0_o this song should be top 300 in pre orders. So much injustice :(

I'll ask BFBS if Mollie could turn up there then

Bet the army would enjoy that

Thanks.

So frustrating! Holding on to hope for C-B-A. And at least The Vamps weren't playlisted either.

I'd be quite disappointed if this flopped surprisingly. Sure, it's an inferior version of All Fired Up but they can crack out the alright tunes sometimes (like this) and I need more buildup to summer songs like What About Us in my life

They were. <_<

The best I can hope for now is that Capital playlist them tomorrow (they usually do a playlist re-jig on Thursdays) and that R1 gives them a couple of plays next week before doing a C-B-Release which will at least be better than Disco Love. But I'm not going to get too positive as the single's buzz and airplay is pretty dead.

Single buzz isn't that bad but it is surely falling pretty quick! It's gone down to 30,000 views a day on Youtube which is beginning to meet Disco Love standard views :(

Stupid me! I was looking at the Radio 1 website. Forgot it won't be updated there for a few days.

#29 on rolling TV airplay. Nice to see this picking up somewhere.

Yeah, that's quite a strong start to TV airplay. Just a shame it not happening anywhere else. Just be what's spurring those 5 or 6 people to pre-order the EP. Capital update their playlists today.

Can anyone find Not Giving Up on Compare My Radio? http://comparemyradio.com/

Apparently on twitter somebody has claimed that 'Not Giving Up' has recieved less than 10 radio spins. I wouldn't be surprised if it's actually true - The Saturdays' have had less than 60 radio plays within the last month and stations will still be rotating 'Disco Love' and 'What About Us' every now and then.

I'm hoping The Saturdays' get a slot on Sports Relief next week as it could help pre-orders! A radio tour should be happening right now though - Pixie Lott has had rather poor airplay but she's been everywhere promoting 'Nasty' for the last month. It's even more frustrating as their are five of them - what's to stop 2 girls going to Capital and the other 3 going to BBC1 etc.

That's dreadful. I don't understand how, out of all their singles radios are so uninterested in this one. I would have thought since it's steadily climbing TV airplay, radios would follow suit. Obviously not. :???:

Unfortunately I think radio are just looking at it as a "fifth single from a flop album by The Saturdays" rather than a "f***ing amazing song".

I don't even think a radio tour will help them that much. It'll get them a few plays when they're in the studio but that's probably going to be it.

They've got nothing to lose by doing a radio tour, a few more radio spins can't hurt. I first heard Nasty on Pixie's Radio 1 tour and took notice of it, regardless to the fact they snubbed it.

Hopefully Radio 1 will playlist them next week, and they can maybe scrape the top 10.

Radio 1 have snubbed 'Nasty' but have played it over 6 times due to Pixie appearing at Radio 1.

The girls didin't even bother premiering 'Not Giving Up' on Capital / Radio 1 either.

Didn't Rochelle premiere 'Not Giving Up' on Radio 1 like three/four weeks ago?

So it's had about nine other plays across the country since then. Wow.
