Anyone going to try for London concert tickets then on Friday at 9.30 am? Bet they'll be gone in seconds. I won't bother as I'm not a big fan but do like some of her stuff. It's time we had an updated comprehensive Greatest Hits album though. The Whole Story came out in 1986.

If I don't eat for a month, I may be able to afford to go.

Remember that Barbra Steisand tickets were around £500 last year as she wouldn't fly over for anything less than a huge payday. ;)

TWS had a re-recorded version of Wuthering Heights too.

DISGUSTING

Someone write to the DAILY MAIL

I've pasted this part of my post from the TOTP 1979 topic:

"Noticed a Kate Bush song in the countdown, suspect this would be "Wow". Was hoping she would be on this week, but wasn't. The other disappointment for me regards Kate Bush, is, no luck at getting a ticket for her concerts later this year. I was tbh taken aback at the ticket price I saw of over *£400, but even that, it now seems wasn't available at the time I looked, and I wouldn't pay that, even if I am a big fan of hers.

I've only ever seen Zero 7 in concert, off topic I know, sorry."

*Looks like that included more than just the ticket for that price!

I think the £400 ticket was the one that included the best seats, food and drink and an overnight hotel stay.

No luck for me either :(

I wonder if she can still sing live. After all she last sang live in 1979! I hope people aren't disappointed. Also, surely the BBC or another broadcaster will want to record and broadcast this rare event. Wonder if Radio 2 may broadcast one live.

Yes, I guess that's it. It makes more sense. A friend has since told me, he'd heard the asking price for a ticket was something like £110

Sorry to hear you had no joy either btw

I managed to get 2 for the opening night and another 2 further into the run... I can't wait.....

Did anyone go to this?

What was your reaction?

Was it worth the wait?

It was absolutely brilliant. The staging of the whole show was perfect.

And yes it was worth the wait although it would have been nice not to have waited sooooo long.

I'm not jealous. Not jealous at all.

OK just a bit jealous. Maybe quite a bit. Possibly a lot jealous.

Oh all right, I'm green with envy.
