April 4, 201411 yr Rather disappointing song from Twin Atlantic - it's very much indebted to "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake, the cringiest rock song of the cringest sub-genre of rock music. It's a real shame, given that the singles from their first album were quite strong and showed quite a lot of potential for them to be a future force to be reckoned with. Having said that, the song will probably give them their first top 40 single, at least if current pre-orders are anything to go by.
April 6, 201411 yr It's very One Direction, not the direction (!) I expected them to go in at all! Pretty cringeworthy release for them in all honesty, I'm sure it'll irk a lot of their fans as it really comes across as a 'chasing commercial success' type of release, a la You Me At Six's Rescue Me.
April 6, 201411 yr This is so, so bland, in fact if it wasn't for the Scottish accent, this could be sung by literally any band. :( They're kind of a band that I really shouldn't like, but do, Make a Beast of Myself remains amazing.

April 24, 201411 yr I've heard this a few times, and I really really like the verses and the bridge which sounds like it's building up for a killer chorus. And then the chorus is really poor and actually rather irritating, sigh. I've never heard anything from them before, but I love his accent. Just wish the chorus was much better than it is. :(
