You see I THOUGHT 'Sinner's Prayer' was filler but I actually found myself bopping along when I listened to the album in full recently :o

I kind of like it :') It's so joyous! It is kind of filler track on a Katherine Jenkins pop album if that existed though. Angel Down in both incarnations is one of my album track highlights!

I mean it's still like 11/14 on what's not considered as an amazing album for most so that says a lot :kink:

It's probably still last place on the album for me but I like 'Just Another Day'! Never understood what's so offensive about it!

 

That said, I loved 'Come to Mama' and 'Hey Girl' so my taste counts for nothing.

Hey Girl is my least favourite on this album :( kinda meh tbh because Florence is one of my favourite British females and I love her solo music but the song itself just went over me tbh.

 

But I don’t actively dislike anything on this album tbh, and (like I’ve said a lot) I do really see this as an improvement on ARTPOP.

 

I think my ranking on this has changed a lot though! I’m trying to find old posts to see if there’s any what have a release week rank I think I joined the forum in early 17 though. But Sinners Prayer was the most instant song on this for me at first. It’s been overtaken by a few tracks now though.

I agree with this sentiment after watching the Zane interview. I think it'll be hard for her to return to a lot of the songs from the album :cry:

 

I can see Dancin In Circles making a tour appearance later down the line, and perhaps Million Reasons too but idk about the rest of the album.

 

Joanne the song, Grigio Girls, Angel Down id say are definite never performed again in public tracks.

I like Just Another Day, Joanne is my second favourite album behind Born This Way. I'll never understand the hate but it does have a few fillers: Come To Mama & Hey Girl - apart from that, the rest of the album is beautiful from start to finish for me. Just Another Day is one of the weaker tracks, but I love it when it comes on shuffle, it's so relaxed and light.

 

Joanne, Million Reasons, Diamond Heart, John Wayne and Angel Down are career highlights for me.

I was SO hyped for 'Hey Girl' but...yeah. The song is fine but it's nowhere near the level of quality a Gaga/Florence collab should be!

Hey Girl is one of the tracks that I don't revisit that often, even though it's still 8/10 at least. It serves its purpose but is kinda filler.

The last two are equally as inessential for me on memory but I haven't listened to them for a lonnnnnnnng time so I'll try again sometime I guess :lol: I absolutely love the whole top 7 though and enjoy the top 11 at least a bit.

I love the top 6. 7-9 are great, and the bottom 3 I don't return to much at all. It's a solid album, it just lacks the big hitters that we have come to expect from her which is why it often gets overlooked I think.

I've had different Gaga songs stuck in my head every day now (I think it's because I've been listening to all of her albums recently) - today it's Sinner's Prayer :o - a song I originally totally dismissed!

'Angel Down' - listening to this while everything is going in is just heartbreaking.

Knowing she created this music in the hope that it could potentially help Joe find peace, but it never happened.. :( It certainly makes listening to the album a much more poignant experience now.
