Good that Showtek are top 40, I prefer this to 'Booyah'. This has had zero support, which is strange as I thought Radio 1 would be all over it like a rash.
Lockdown is at 6pm, so however the itunes chat is at 6pm, that's what they will play. They normally would start playing the Top 10 around 6:10pm I would think.

Thanks. It will be funny to listen to the show this week

I've noticed that Kiesza hasn't increased much since last night, very overated song imo but it was always going to be #1 I guess.

On the album chart:

 10. Meridian Dan - German Whip (Remixes) - EP

On the singles chart:

 39. Meridian Dan - German Whip (feat. Skepta, Professor Green, Bossman Birdie & Rizzle Kicks) [Remix]

YES :yahoo: @ Kiesza storming to No1; I wonder if she can grab the biggest first week sales of 2014 so far?!

*.* Meridian Dan SLAYING all your non-top four (combined) iTunes chart faves!

G'WON Shift K3y grab that top ten spot! :cheer:

Glad to see 'Cannonball (Earthquake)' has a chance of making the top forty :D, although surely 'We Like To Party' would've been a more logical follow-up to 'Booyah'?!

I wish we had a set of number ones like Eamon and Frankee again

I shamefully loved Eamon & Frankee ... Frankee especially! I doubt we will ever see something like that happen again though really :P.

Rather surprised to see that Showtek song in the top 40, does it have any radio support at all? They're not exactly a big name (even a Guetta collab has only barely gone top 20, though I expect 'Bad' will climb to its peak as Guetta often does).
I wasn't expecting 'Cannonball (Earthquake)' to go top 40 either, great to see it doing so though, maybe Radio 1 will finally be convinced to playlist it after the surprising omission!

Because that worked so well with 'Moves Like Jagger'?

Yes, Moves Like Jagger needed more airplay

Happy needs more airplay, I don't hear it enough :cheer:

8. Elyar Fox- A Billion Girls

I hope a billion girls don't end buying this. A second-rate Conor Maynard he is.

11. Shift K3Y- Touch

Where has this come from?

Just saying. Moves Like Jagger could never have enough airplay.
Shift K3Y now up to #9! This must be the first song in a while (other than post-album singles I guess) to make the top 10 without a 'single' release, with EPs falling so far out of favour in recent months.
