I tasked myself with remembering dance songs, any songs, from the last 15 years or so (excluding 2013 and this year). I came up with the following, in this order:

Sweet Like Chocolate, Flat Beat, Blue (Da Ba Dee), One More Time, Groovejet, Satisfaction, Call On Me, Come Back.

I am sure that I'll remember Hideaway, Need U (100%), Rather Be etc as fondly as those songs above. Dance music is definitely in a renaissance atm and I love it

Everybody remembers different songs. It depends on how well they connect with the songs. I know people who don't even know the biggest hits of the past few years (Wake Me Up, Counting Stars, Titanium), and also know people who will remember the most random of songs from years gone such as 'Fragma's You Are Alive' for example, so there is no right or wrong answer as people will remember different songs from different era's.

I agree 'Need U (100%)' was better but I just love the way 'I Got U' makes me feel like I'm being toasted by rays of sunshine even if it's freezing cold.

Exactly this. Need U (100%) was my #3 of last year and I got U will probably miss the Top 10 but it makes me feel so fuzzy and warm inside.

Just heard the track from Shift K3Y for the first time, its alright, at least its better than the chavvy track from Meridian Dan.

Feels like a while since people have moaned about 'chavvy' music in the charts.

Need U was a proper SONG, still listen to it occasionally. With I Got You... I don't feel it at all, it's NICE and I can listen to it without feeling the pain in the ears, it's lovely - but I wouldn't lose anything if I didn't hear it.
Oh, and I think with a bit of luck Tove Lo should get into the top-3 in iTunes and top-5 officially, especially after the new releases start to fall down.

That Shift K3Y song is bloody dreadful

 06. Stay High (feat. Hippie Sabotage) [Habits Remix] - Tove Lo

On the climb again

Kiesza hasn't even moved at all today, Sigma has been catching up at a snail's pace all day. Mr Probz could very well knock her off next week and deservedly so.
Interesting that arguably the 'biggest name' in the iTunes top 10 is John Legend. :P Although it shows that people aren't just buying a single just for the artist as much any more, which is good... (The Vamps excluded)

79. Avicii - Wake Me Up

80. Katy Perry - Roar

Wake Me Up + Roar = Together & Forever

You might want to rephrase that a little...

UK's eurovision entry seems to be available now - is it showing up in the top 1500 at all?
I can't believe Iggy and The Vamps are falling out of the top ten already :'(

u ok hun

 3. Touch - Shift K3Y

 29. Cannonball (Earthquake) - Showtek & Justin Prime

 85. Iron Sky - Paolo Nutini

Wow, at all three!

Wasn't expecting Touch to get top 3 even with the R1 A-list!

Passenger also seems to have released a single called 'Heart's on Fire' which currently sits at 167 :o

And 'A Billion Girls (Acoustic)' has been released and is in the top 170. According to Elyar Fox's twitter, he seems to be releasing a new version every day, along with physicals which will easily place him top 10..

'Sing' pre-order has dropped to 233  and Stay With Me appears at 282

This. Waves is a masterpiece.

Showtek look set for a 3rd top 40 hit this week then! And Matthew Koma to get a 2nd, just one off matching Carly Rae Jepsen :P

Is there a connection between them I'm not aware of, or is it just a random comparison?
