June 14, 201411 yr I'm still pretty amazed this has even charted to be honest. I'm gonna predict #62 for Sunday,
June 15, 201411 yr if only it had a phyisical it would have thrashed i really really shoulda cancelled!
June 15, 201411 yr If it had had even 1 radio play, been released on Sunday and not played catch up on Monday and any kinda of promo it would have gone top 40....
June 16, 201411 yr All (If's) and they wont help now. I am bitterly disappointed it did not out peak I Was Gonna Cancel.
June 16, 201411 yr Author If it had had even 1 radio play, been released on Sunday and not played catch up on Monday and any kinda of promo it would have gone top 40.... I really doubt that it would.
June 16, 201411 yr A physical cd release would have increased sales by around 1,500 which would have left her short of a top 40 placing, but would have resulted in Crystalize rightly out peaking I Was Gonna Cancel which does not deserve to have a higher peak than Crystalize.
June 16, 201411 yr Author There's no guarantee of that, besides, since when has the chart position of a chairty song been so important?
June 16, 201411 yr Extra CD sales would have meant lower download sales. Given that it struggled to sell over 3k, hardly would have made a difference. Where have all her fans gone. Probably only sold copies to 2000 different people. e.g. I bought it twice via Amazon and itunes.
June 16, 201411 yr From Music Week: Elsewhere in the Top 75, there are debuts for That's Not Me (number 21, 12,071 sales) by Skepta feat. JME, Crystallize (number 60, 3,278 sales) by Kylie Minogue, First Love (number 63, 3,129 sales) by Jennifer Lopez, Everybody Wants To Rule The World (number 65, 2,979 sales) by Lorde and Let Me Down Easy (95-75, 2,468 sales) by Paolo Nutini. FYI, 'I Was Gonna Cancel' sold 3,989 when it debuted at #59.
June 16, 201411 yr The fan base appears to be deserting her, i would have believed she has a far stronger loyal fanbase than 3,000 fans.
June 16, 201411 yr It sounds bad, but to be frankly honest even I couldn't be bothered with this and I usually support everything she releases. I'll probably invest in it at one point so I don't suffer repentance from a higher power for not doing a charitable endeavour. Edited June 16, 201411 yr by mr_aly
June 16, 201411 yr Author ^SmileyKylie will come stab you in the night. The real crime here is that it peaked higher than the far superior First Love -_- Edited June 16, 201411 yr by Regina

June 16, 201411 yr Well there was hardly any promotion so you can't expect it to do well...all things considered it has done ok and raised a bit of money for charity. The record company should be more disappointed with IWGC as that was a Pharrell penned track off the back of the album and did get some radio play, albeit it no loads.
