April 21, 201411 yr Frozen is a lot lower than I expected, but I'm glad. It's not terrible or anything but it's definitely horrifically overrated...Get out. Ew. I expected better off you, Mr. :'( 'Frozen' is flawless. Easily the best of the princess films (at the least) imo. It's just so well thought out and doesn't feel as generic as your other films of the same ilk. Plus the music is the best Disney music since 'The Lion King'! So that helps. Stunning film. Surely this rate is 'Lion King''s to lose?
April 22, 201411 yr Haven't seen Frozen and Mulan wasn't good at all. Can't believe The Sword in the Stone has come in so low but it did get two rates less than Tarzan.
April 22, 201411 yr Author Why "The Black Cauldron" wasn't included in the list or the host forgot about this great Disney cartoon ? I certainly did not forget about it Me and Haus had a discussion about this but decided against it being in the rate as a) there'd be too many movies b) It flopped horendously, especially in the US and c) It's not very known and was not released on VHS until 1998 because it flopped so badly. We had to cut a few movies to make the rate doable for everyone

The movie was successful enough to get 3 sequels and a television series that ran for 3 years. The movie is about an alien called Experiment 626, who escapes from exile. He flees to Earth and end up in an animal shelter. Lilo picks him up from said shelter, thinking he’s a dog and calls him Stitch. There are however 2 aliens assigned to hunt Stitch down, Jumba (his creator) and Pleakley. Due to them hunting him, it seems like Stitch is trying to drown Lilo, which results in Lilo being taken away the next morning. As a results of this Stitch runs away to find his “ohana”. He later returns to protect Lilo from Jumba and Peakley attacking her house. Lilo and Stitch are then taken by other aliens, but Stitch escapes and rescues Lilo, together with Jumba and Peakley. The Councilwoman however refuses to let Stitch go, but using Lilo's certificate of Stitch's ownership, which proves that taking Stitch would mean stealing him from Lilo, the Councilwoman asserts that Stitch, now a part of Nani and Lilo's family, will live his exile on Earth with the humans as his warders. wAtaSKQ4-T0 Movies So Far: #20 Lilo & Stitch #21 Mulan #22 The Hunchback of The Notre Dame #23 Frozen #24 Hercules #25 Tarzan #26 The Sword In The Stone #27 Wreck it Ralph #28 Fantasia #29 Tangled #30 The Rescuers #31 The Emperor’s New Groove #32 The Princess And The Frog #33 Bolt #34 The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride #35 Oliver & Co #36 Chicken Little #37 Brother Bear #38 The Brave Little Toaster #39 Dinosaur #40 Home On The Range #41 The Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars

The story of Robin Hood, I think we all know, goes as follows. Robin Hood is a hero of the poor. He steals from the rich and gives to the poor. He even steals from the King via trickery, which prompts the King to put a warrant out and assign the sheriff as his personal tax collector. Robin’s childhood love Maid Marian is the price of a tournament, organized by the King. Robin decides to enter, but not as himself. He is however revealed as Robin Hood and the King demands his arrest. Robin’s arrest isn’t going down smoothly with the people and Robin himself and a fight breaks out, which leads to Robin and Marian fleeing into the forests, where they fall in love again. When the original King returns, the “replacement” is put in jail and Robin and Marian are allowed to marry. 2ZhaygpiQlk Movies So Far: #19 Robin Hood #20 Lilo & Stitch #21 Mulan #22 The Hunchback of The Notre Dame #23 Frozen #24 Hercules #25 Tarzan #26 The Sword In The Stone #27 Wreck it Ralph #28 Fantasia #29 Tangled #30 The Rescuers #31 The Emperor’s New Groove #32 The Princess And The Frog #33 Bolt #34 The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride #35 Oliver & Co #36 Chicken Little #37 Brother Bear #38 The Brave Little Toaster #39 Dinosaur #40 Home On The Range #41 The Brave Little Toaster Goes To Mars

April 22, 201411 yr 'Robin Hood' is fantastic. Such a childhood classic. Probably the earliest memory I have of watching a Disney film. So underrated. 'Pocahontas' however, is incredibly overrated. I found it so dull and went nowhere. :(

The movie was released in 1950 and got 2 sequels and is heavily featured in Disneyland. The American Film Institute named it one of the best animated movies ever made. Despite that Buzzjack has only rated this as Disney’s 16th movie and one of the lowest scoring Disney Princesses. In a far away, long ago kingdom, Cinderella is living happily with her mother and father until her mother dies. Cinderella's father remarries a cold, cruel woman who has two daughters, Drizella and Anastasia. When the father dies, Cinderella's wicked stepmother turns her into a virtual servant in her own house. Meanwhile, across town in the castle, the King determines that his son the Prince should find a suitable bride and provide him with a required number of grandchildren. So the King invites every eligible maiden in the kingdom to a fancy dress ball, where his son will be able to choose his bride. Cinderella has no suitable party dress for a ball, but her friends the mice, led by Jaques and Gus, and the birds lend a hand in making her one, a dress the evil stepsisters immediately tear apart on the evening of the ball. At this point, enter the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin carriage, the royal ball, the stroke of midnight, the glass slipper, and the rest, as they say, is fairy tale history. April 22, 201411 yr The Fox and the Hound is absolutely amazing  Edited April 22, 201411 yr by jsilv
April 22, 201411 yr 'Robin Hood' is indeed very underrated. It doesn't have much depth as some of the others or character development but it's easily one of the most enjoyable. 'The Fox and the Hound' has ALL the depth/character/charm needed. Utterly wonderful and so heart-breaking. Has always been a fave.
