Almost certainly, she's just outside the top 40 now (Unless she falls away drastically before Sunday)

If she does, R1 are going to have problems, as there's no radio edit... ;)

I'm sure R1 will do an in house edit should it go Top 40 on Sunday, if they've not got a clean version already. Sometimes radio will get sent out a clean version of an album on release, so they may have a full clean version of Born To Die. It's unlikely they'll skip it as it's in the chart due to an advert for a BBC programme.

Radio 1 played 'Do You Want To Build a Snowman?' in full though, so I take it they could do that with Lana too, and besides, she's relevant at the moment with the new single out.
Our Time should go top 40 now at least!

Agreed! Nobody has the album yet, it's A-listed on Radio 1 and featured in the 59p section on the store. Ideally it should be top 20. Her campaign has been really messy.

Poor Foxes isn't looking to do very well with 'Holding On To Heaven' unless it picks up a bit.

You sound surprised. It was after all given away for free on iTunes not too long ago (though Alex Clare got a #4 hit in the same situation).

Great to see Justin Timberlake, Lana Del Rey and Paloma all picking up, hope all can get T40 soon; same for Lily Allen, Alicia Keys and Kid Ink.

Yeah I bought it for free, too. It was put up for free right after Youth came out so I'd assume loads of people have already got it.

I'm not sure that would make a huge difference if it was genuinely going to be a hit, it does sort of feel like they've missed the boat and released the album too late when all the hype has evaporated (they'll probably do the same with Neon Jungle).

I'm sure the album will still debut reasonably high anyway.

 22. Justin Timberlake - Not a Bad Thing

 28. Lana Del Rey - Gods & Monsters

If they both hold this level, surely that should be enough for top 40 on Sunday!

 38. One Direction - You and I

 39. Lily Allen - Our Time

 40. Paloma Faith - Only Love Can Hurt Like This

:cheer: at "Our Time" going top 40! Hopefully it'll climb further next week!

Love thursday/fridays the newer releasesw always rise really quickly before the weekend effect kicks in.

How is Paloma sooo high - is she 59p?

Loyal almost top 10 again!!! It's got 2 days before the new released on Sunday, so hopefully it makes it this time.

23. DJ Snake & Lil Jon - Turn Down For What

27. John Legend - All of Me (Tiësto's Birthday Treatment Remix) [Radio Edit]

45. Alicia Keys - It's On Again (feat. Kendrick Lamar)

62. Kid Ink - Money and the Power

70. Pharrell Williams - Marilyn Monroe

76. Imelda May - It's Good To Be Alive

118. Katy Perry - Birthday

Just an impact of a good song I guess. I really should check her album.

So is g.u.y a complete flop? Where is it? It should have at least gone top 40.

I am a big gaga fan but even i admit that her latest album wasn't very good, i never liked zedd. He slams other dj and thinks his music is revolutionary, stay the night ft hayley williams is the blandest dance song i have ever heard.

Hopefully this will be #1 by the time it's my birthday on Wednesday? :P

I think the song could rise later on as airplay increases. She shouldn't have released the music video so early imo.

I agree with you about Zedd. He's had two big hits, Clarity and Stay the Night, but they are very cookie-cutter pop imo. Also, I do like uplifting music, but Zedd's songs are waaay too happy, it just ends up sounding cheesy and childish to me. And he offers absolutely nothing to the mainstream music scene, we already have Calvin Harris, Dr. Luke, etc. who are hit factories with the same kind of music.

If it did manage that, I think that might make it the fastest-climbing post-album single of all time.
