April 23, 201412 yr No clue how DJ Cassidy is #2 today? With a fairly sizeable lead over Sigma as well (though not much of a lead over Kiesza). New releases sometimes seem to just get magic sales on the early updates that don't seem to be accounted for on iTunes. Pre-orders plus the fact that it would've gotten higher on iTunes on Sunday if sales from before then weren't included in the feed, surely? Not brilliant sales for Iggy but YAY at her looking to go top 5 as well as only a very small drop for The Vamps!
April 23, 201412 yr Not brilliant sales for Iggy but YAY at her looking to go top 5 as well as only a very small drop for The Vamps! I'd be doubtful that Iggy will remain top 5, unfortunately. She hasn't established a good lead over older albums more likely to hold up better throughout the week. She'll probably do about 9k and #7ish but i hope I'm underestimating.

She'll probably do about 9k and #7ish but i hope I'm underestimating. The lead doesn't look hugely impressive but in such a sales climate, she's actually a fair way ahead of #4. Think she'll drop to #3 during the week (with The Vamps overtaking) and still be top 5 at the end of the week, hopefully anyway!
April 23, 201412 yr Paolo Nutini looking at 50,000 units this coming week, which is wonderful for week 2 and a great continuation of this 3rd era moving fantastically well for him in line with his previous 2 massive selling albums. I am pleased to see the Vamps still in the top 3 and would be pleased to see them remain as it is a very solid pop album, John Legend still within the top 5 region is also pleasing. Could i ask in advance for Gary Barlow's album position at the moment? Hes also on Jools Holland this week which is shown twice and should help sales tick along!

April 23, 201412 yr An early top 40 placing could just be enough to get the Kooks another Top 75 entry to their credentials.
April 23, 201412 yr Iggy down to #3 from yesterday's update  Really hope she stays top 5, would be so amazing! Edited April 23, 201412 yr by jmmc
April 23, 201412 yr Author Whitney off the budget chart I see. Wonder how long she'll be chart eligible this time! :P Shame that Iggy is already dropping although tbf there was a tiny gap. I think she may remain Top 5 - John Legend will no doubt kick her out the Top 3.
April 23, 201412 yr Kelis' album up from yesterdays No. 24 to No. 8  Yep its position is right, must have been some sales data missing from yesterdays' update
April 23, 201412 yr Kelis' album up from yesterdays No. 24 to No. 8  Amazons £3.99 offer is probably helping - it made me buy it.

April 23, 201412 yr Iggy down to #3 from yesterday's update  Really hope she stays top 5, would be so amazing! The Vamps are 112 copies ahead.
April 23, 201412 yr Martin where do you think Iggy will chart? :P The Vamps are 112 copies ahead. just saw this :-X can she stay top 3 tho? Edited April 23, 201412 yr by jmmc
April 23, 201412 yr Hoping Cash Cash can overtake DJ Cassidy by Sunday as its fallen on iTunes which would make me very happy! Great sales for Paolo, I'm happy with this weeks chart!
April 23, 201412 yr Martin where do you think Iggy will chart? :P Too hard to tell at the moment, but with Iggy's album been a new release, she might get back to #2, she is 900 copies ahead of John Legend, otherwise she be a lock for #3, I can't see the Eels getting higher, they will trail off a bit.

Don't really understand your logic here . Being a new release, surely her album will be more front-loaded than the competition (even The Vamps), especially with no promo, so I think top 3 is out of the question. John is extremely likely to overtake and Paloma and others will sell consistently throughout the week as well and so could also be threats IMO.
April 23, 201412 yr *.* Mr. Probz/Kiesza/Sigma ~ that's an insanely amazing top three! :yahoo:
