Predicting the 27/4 to 03/05 chart

Yet another song that had hit it big on pre-orders, Dutch hip-hop act Mr. Probz releases 'Waves', which surfaced last year however has now been transformed into a house song following the remix from Robin Schulz. Previous #1s from Kiesza and Sigma are still selling strong but 'Calling All Hearts' by DJ Cassidy - known for hosting big celebrity celebrations - with the assistance of Jessie J and Robin Thicke could challenge either act for a Top 3 placing. Also heading for Top 10 placings this week are two electronic-dance music artists: 'Take Me Home' by Cash Cash (featuring Bebe Rexha) and 'Welcome to the Jungle' by Neon Jungle. It seems Indiana chose the wrong week to release 'Solo Dancing' if she wanted a Top 10, but nevertheless she looks likely to receive her first Top 20 hit.

After becoming the first artist of 2014 to sell 100k of an album in one week, Paolo Nutini looks likely to spend a second week at #1. Joining him in the Top 3 (and replacing Kylie as Aussie's most iconic booty :kink:) could be hip-hop artist Iggy Azalea with her first studio album The New Classic. Other potential new entries to the Top 40 come from Kelis, Eels and Daniel O'Donnell.

Looks like it will be an exciting week in the top 10, with 4 new entries providing Neon Jungle don't do an Elyar Fox and fall on iTunes before Friday! I think the top 5 will look like this:

1 Mr Probz (115k)

2 Kiesza

3 Sigma

4 Cash Cash (I hope this can overtake that awful CAH track)

5 DJ Cassidy

Albums very quiet this week but that will be an easy 2nd week for Paolo, will be interesting to see how much it sells after its 1st week sales, maybe 40/50k

Gods & Monsters #48

Iggy #2 :cheer:

Hopefully she can remain top 5 throughout the week

At this rate the Kelis album might chart higher than her last one, which had an actual top 5 hit?

Excellent start for Mr. Probz! :cheer:

Shame Indiana has virtually no chance of retaining her top ten status until Sunday.

#8's a really good start fore Indiana, she obviously won't hold on to the top 10 but it should finish just inside the top 20 by Sunday, which is honestly a lot better than I thought, she is pretty much a totally new artist ofc.

No clue how DJ Cassidy is #2 today? With a fairly sizeable lead over Sigma as well (though not much of a lead over Kiesza). New releases sometimes seem to just get magic sales on the early updates that don't seem to be accounted for on iTunes.

Incidentally :magic: DJ Cassidy will become the 5th 'DJ [x]' to get a top 40 hit this year and probably the third to go top 5. Random revival in the popularity of such artists.

Very pleased for Indiana. :D

Poor Kelis, but this is her first album released independently so it's not too bad as she doesn't have a hit.

As I was kind of dreading, Iggy's sales aren't as good as I was hoping. I hope she can hold onto a Top 5 placing although I guess anywhere in the Top 10 would be a good for a female hip-hop artist.
Ugh at the dj cassidy track. Jessie certainly has jumped on the cheap train recently, Also that Neon Jungle Track is the worst out of their three singles and should defo miss the top 10 (Although it won't).

Just wait until part 23 (or thereabouts) of the "Virtual Book" - about 70 DJ..... acts, from DJ Aligator Project to DJ Zinc, six of whom have reached number one
