I'd hope this is as low as it is just because it's as new as it is and people haven't had the time to get used to it and appreciate how fantastic Zayn looks in it, as opposed to just not liking it. It's certainly not their best video, but it is very clever. Some of the transitions into each member are a bit dodgy and obvious, but it's smart and is something different for them! The video hasn't had a great deal of success either considering to this day it still struggles to gain views like 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'One Thing' do on a daily basis. It's not exactly the boys' best video - I mean, when did riding along with a few grannies on their buggies become a thing?! And going into a kebab shop with a fire extinguisher is just so rebellious. And of course there were the claims that the director was being a racist what with Zayn having next to no screen time despite featuring in the song a fair bit (no?)... May 4, 201411 yr I think the video deserved a little better (the song gets exactly what it deserves) but I prefer the last section where they get on the boat and jet across the Thames as opposed to some of the silliness in the rest of it (Niall taking a big bite of that kebab is still a bit wtf). (Oh, I've just realised that it DID beat "You & I", yay! Still, I rated it higher than "Kiss You" and "One Thing" but I adore the video of the latter so I can't complain and the former is always overrated :heehee:)

Must say, I'm surprised to see it as low as this. I think it compliments the song perfectly. Nice summery, beach video with all five of them looking fantastic, running along the sand, and even at one point walking through the water with their shirts off. If only we got a closer view or some behind-the-scenes pictures leaked. :kink: Niall decided to keep his top on though? Poor. The boys made this video all by themselves with all proceeds going to Comic Relief. With shots from their tour, at an airport, in Japan, New York, London and the likes, it's obviously one of their best videos! And there's even a cameo from David Cameron when the boys pay 10 Downing Street a visit. It's where I'd say Liam looks his absolute best. Back in the fetus days where he had hair you could actually look at and think he was attractive with, and an overall image that just *worked*. The rest of the boys look brilliant in it, heck even Louis does! Watching this back, is that a cameo for TRISHA MALIK I see? :o Proud mother! Some of those that have dropped out already are a bit better IMO, but of course this one is quite clever with how it uses the images and then that translates into a moment from the boys' past (using Zayn's particularly - the scenes with his sister are adorable). Harry and Zayn both look excellent in this video, even if I'm not a fan of Zayn with his facial hair most of the time. Here, it just didn't really work oops. It matches the song perfectly. Then walking through the field is possibly one of their best scenes in a video, and the beginning where, ahem, that *thing* happens between Zayn and Harry is certainly very entertaining. :kink: And then when we get through the video and into the bit where they're all dripping wet, that's when it's entertaining. Zayn, Niall and Harry all wet is certainly a lovely sight. :heehee: Who wouldn't want to be next to them in that pool?! I think "Live While We're Young" was the peak of Liam's hair from the earlier days, better than how he had it on The X Factor and during the first era and before he cut it really short. The video is fun for the song but has never been that special to me.
