I know this is terrible of me to say but I think realistically it's their best chance to continue their career without anything worse happening.

 

They should, after the tour, cancel album six and take a two year break from putting music out. It's the only way I see them salvaging things. Taking two years to write a killer album also at the same time giving us all a chance to miss them and get them another well deserved hit and hopefully get radio back on board too. And also two years away would give them time to work on Solo projects and spend time with their children, families etc...

I think it would be dangerous for them to take a break but on the same hand it will also be career suicide if they rush out a studio album and it flops as hard as their recent efforts.

 

Their last few singles have been nothing more than fan based led 'hits' with shocking chart runs and no impression on the general public and WAYWF is continuing that trend.

 

The best thing they could have done was promote the GH on a massive scale to give it some shelf life and keep them relevant while they worked away on a killer single/album but that is looking seriously unlikely - I can't see the album hanging around in the upper reaches for very long at all.

Thing is, a #1 album would probably get better featured in supermarkets and HMV etc. There's so much advantages of having a #1 album and that's why I don't understand their lack of drive to achieve one.

It's kind of worrying that the likes of Asda and Tesco don't feel the need to stock the album especially in such a quite sales period... and Sainsbury's have it listed right at the bottom of their charts.

Tesco as a whole are reducing the presence of music/entertainment in it's superstores. Bigger Superstores and Tesco Extra's should still have a large presence but they are directing people to the likes of blinkbox and tesco entertainment online.

I think it sounds ever so slightly different to the version on the 30 Days single. But I am not sure how so. But if you mean different to the one done on the Headlines tour then it has always sounded like this in studio form.
