Would love to know what possessed them to move Ed Sheeran back down to the B-list this week, that's almost unheard of these days :wacko: Also, very surprised that the Arctic Monkeys are still stalling on the C-list! May 21, 201412 yr YAY for 'Gecko' entering already, should be A-listed well before release then which means big first week sales :D How strange that they've playlisted 'Tremor' though, I didn't expect that song to be pushed when DV+LM have a song that features KATY B
May 21, 201412 yr Just noticed how male dominated the A-List is (and had been last week as well). Only three female lead artists (counting the mixed Clean Bandit) but I guess five female voices if you include 'I Wanna Feel' and 'Jubel'.
May 21, 201412 yr 'Sing' being moved down has got to be a mistake? 3 songs moving up into both the A-List and the B-List, with 3 songs dropping off the A-List, so moving 'Sing' down makes the A-List one song smaller and the B-List one song bigger than last week. I see Martin Garrix has decided which of his billion other songs floating around is going to be pushed as his third single (although I suppose it's technically a Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike single - its 'official' credit is quite annoying, for consistency purpose assuming it charts I will probably credit it to 'Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Martin Garrix' in my spreadsheet which looks horrible, but Dimitri & Mike can't be split up as they are a permanent duo :drama:) Yay for Oliver Heldens being added, not heard the vocal mix yet but it's a fabulous instrumental and Becky Hill was good on 'Afterglow'. Finally a major hit (kinda) from The Voice? :P

May 21, 201412 yr Well that's the worst playlist update I've ever seen ffs. Only pros are Gecko getting on the list but wtf at Sing being moved DOWN on release week??? Whats the point of that. The only time I've ever seen that is if the song is held back by another week(which normally stalls a songs progress) which normally occurs when it's in the C List not when a song has Alist rotation. Only 3 main additions & 2 in the INMWT list (hope MNEK moves into the main list)! Also Bastilles 2 yr old song and 6th?! Alist addition since the album release - surely some newer music should be added to the A list so radio 1 can really get going with new artists in 2014. Same goes for the 1975! There's actually 4 songs moving into the A-list - Bastille, Tiesto, The 1975 and Klingande, so the A-list hasn't got any smaller and 'Sing' moving down does actually seem genuine!
