I don't really understand what/where to get an MP3 from.. Either download the song from a legal source if its available (Amazon/iTunes etc...) and upload it to Zippyshare/Sendspace or anything like that, which will create a link, or convert the Youtube/Soundcloud file using any number of sites (Google 'convert video to MP3' to bring up a multitude of options) and then again upload the file to Zippyshare etc... I'll do the latter option for anything I don't have an MP3 for by Sunday.

If the rest could kindly send theirs along I'd be most grateful, if not then I'll do a Youtube/Soundcloud conversion on Sunday morning and lets face it, they never sound as good! Way to set yourself back 20 points before the contest even begins, the audiophiles just won't be impressed. Was my link for YouTube converter okay? I thought it had the same sound quality.
May 29, 201411 yr MP3 sended. Even if it doesn't show on the scoreboard this is probably the entriy that I've felt the most proud about sending for a long time. (It's never to early to kickstart the hype!)

Most people who send their own MP3's tend to send 320kbps files. It makes no difference to a lot of people but some don't like listening to lower quality files.

I would do it myself but I don't really know how to do it, although that Zippyshare upload thingy you brought up might be useful.

May 29, 201411 yr Author MP3ify converts YouTube videos at 320kbps (or so it says). :ph34r: They still won't sound as good as true/original 320kbps files as they'll have any hiss or talking or whatever that might happen to be part of the video. I've never used that one tbh, I use Anything2MP3 as that does Soundcloud files as well as Youtube.

I use it free from any other meaning than LOL as my sense of humour doesn't otherwise translate well into print I've found (without it).... :lol:

Oh Alex isn't a troll - surely it's a discussion based public forum, opinions are the whole point of it, nobody has to agree with anything anybody says. Just explain why you disagree if you don't agree, is all.. I must be a saint then as Alex' tastes fluctuate wildly between genuine classic (and sometimes obscure classic) pop and the trashier end of pop (just in my opinion of course) but he's never ever dull (and he does put time and effort them into them) B-) Plus, unrelated, I got my first ever veto! I feel like I've made it! It's been a Sword Of Damocles hanging over me, waiting for it to happen. Actually it's more "shrug shouldery" now it's happened, not a problem. I wouldve won though of course :dance: :lol:
