Is there any chance whatsoever that this won't be happening? I mean, has it been confirmed by her or anyone from her camp?

Trying to hold out a little bit of hope here...

It's the follow-up to Birthday in The Netherlands and we don't support album tracks on the radio
GET. OUT.

whatevs. Screechy, Screech-like vocals. It´s painful.

No, Regina, otherwise it´d end up like Afraid on Nelly´s Loose!

I love Thinking Of You too, I can see why some people would find it screechy though.

Except that 'Afraid' is actually awesome and this is... not.

At this rate 'Walking on Air' will be the new 'Afraid'.

Tbh I'm really shocked to see how many of Katy's singles are underperforming this era. I was certain of a Top Three placing for Unconditionally and Birthday is amazing so I thought Top Ten was on lock but even that is struggling to get off the ground, it's so frustrating! Even Dark Horse was rather underwhelming compared to the third release from Teenage Dream. Idk right now with Katy, if Legendary Lovers is the next single, I can just see it being the final nail in Prism's coffin. It's aura is too similar to Dark Horse and it's just not as instant as say This Is How We Do, Walking On Air or even International Smile. She's killing her reputation as a undisputed hit-maker with all these flops.

Please see some sense and change your mind about Legendary Lovers, Katy; it's the most annoying track on the album.

EDIT: I think her management should push the Cash Cash remix of Birthday ala Summertime Sadness and maybe it might turn out to be a summer hit? It's too good to ignore

I never expected Birthday to go top 10 but I did think top 20. Oh well. And I think Unconditionally surprised everyone tbf. This seems to be going more like the One of the Boys era as opposed to Teenage Dream, which is no bad thing and the album has done incredibly well.
It was always going to be difficult for her following up an album campaign as successful as 'Teenage Dream'. It's quite similar to Rihanna after 'Good Girl Gone Bad'. 'Rated R', though brilliant, never lived up to 'Good Girl Gone Bad'.
Yeah it is all a bit floppy like, but Teenage Dream WAS her peak, so Prism just doesn't really compare. Brithday was always going to flop tbf and I knew Unconditionally would flop on first hearing it, so bland and nothing new to say.

In terms of sales I think Teenage Dream was her peak but in terms of image I'd definitely say Dark Horse and Roar are two of her most iconic songs.

No, her image is derived from the Teenage Dream, Katy comic book-style image, the candy-floss popstar.
I'm with Adam on this one. She was never going to follow up 'Teenage Dream' era with an era so similar, hits wise (I highly doubt she ever will again tbh). But to say 'Prism' has been a flop is rather bizarre. It's been a big success for her and still has radio on her side (something which can't be said for Lady GaGa (hate to make comparisons, but it's true - GaGa fans would probably admit this)) and the general public still on her side somewhat. She seems to be the popstar who has the most broad appeal (Rihanna seems to split people more) and 'Prism' has just basically kept that going.
