A very interesting take on the Four Seasons, a bit of bhangra influence out of nowhere.

Only just noticed that Spring has been entered, I very nearly entered Max Reichter last month after the album was re-released, really enjoy the whole thing - although not as familiar with the remixes as yet.

just run through semi 2. I don't envy voters in that one, varied and by my reckoning at least 20 songs that deserve to qualify. Ouch!

 

Just for the record, I think this is the best contest I've been in, at least half the entries are very good and there are so many excellent ones or better that listing just 10 (if they all make the final) is going to be a nightmare :o

PS. My number one on sunday is going to be a BJSC song in from nowhere (not mine). I've fallen obsessively in love with one track in particular - doesn't often happen! How exciting!

Forgot how much I love seeing the votes rolling in! Shock hits/flops ahoy in both semis, although that said I've only had a few sets in so far so it doesn't mean much :lol:

 

More votes please though, I'm actually at home for once tomorrow night so would be nice to have lots to tally up by then!

^Well that's going to make me nervous if anything. I love tallying things up though, I get bizarre enjoyment out of doing so in ROTD, so I understand your need to see more votes and as such I have voted.

 

It must be the earliest I've voted in an age, although I've had nothing but the contest on all day. Decent semi, although I found it remarkably easy to cut down, and what I've heard of semi 1 means I'm going to have to hope a ton of tracks grow on me for the final.

The more I listen to semi 1 the more I think I'm going to completely flop. :(

TBF it doesn't really take much experience to be able to pick out a Zechonia entry. The only possible other country they could ever be confused with is Séyetana.

Voted. Actually felt REALLY bad for the song that just missed out, all of my top 11 were pretty much amazing so hopefully it'll still make the final.

Voted late last night and it's probably the worst semi I've been in in the last few years. I like to have eight-ten songs getting 8/10 or more, but I only had three, so much forgettable subtle dance, so little of any excitement whatsoever.

i guess playing god would've been good this month :(

Good god I just heard Eledan's entry, in the background what was Pavel thinking off :blink: epic fail, I was seeing what's all the fuss over it.

 

I'll be sending my votes tonight, there are quite a lot to vote for, but some are going to miss out, Semi 1 is very strong and very hard to vote for.
