I do see the comparisons to Dope with Your Loss I'm Found, however it is truly brilliant and it really is similar to an 80's Power ballad. Get Away and You Don't Really Know Me are also beautiful. Strip, Keep Us Together and Seal Me With a Kiss are my JAMS which is more than I can say for the extremely underwhelming Loud and Fire. Great album!

This album is EXCELLENT, may even be better than Who You Are! Personal/Ain't Been Done are favourites at the moment but Masterpiece is my ultimate favourite, gorgeous :wub:

I'm actually a little shocked by the positive response this album is getting. For me it is by far her worst album yet. Alive was much more consistent with much better lyrics and superior hooks. Of course both don't compare to her debut.

 

Maybe I need to give it a few more spins. Fire is probably one of the dullest songs I've ever heard.

It's a fantastic album, much better than 'Alive' and definitely at least on par with 'Who You Are'. The first few tracks in particular would all make fantastic singles!

Just a little stupid thought but imagine if Jessie had taken a bit longer before her second album and just kept recording and producing these songs. Imagine if this was the tracklist:

Masterpiece and Personal are both great, haven't had a chance to listen to the rest of the album but apart from the singles everything sounds as good as her first album
