At the end of the day, they're going to get a lot of 'WHO?!?!?!?' criticism over the internet just by being unknown. 'BO$$' makes more of a statement to make them stand out and impress people. 'Sledgehammer', while nice, is just that, it doesn't make them stand out from other girl bands and people will forget about them. 'BO$$' will give them a bigger impact on iTunes.

Dinah FINALLY getting a solo. It's actually ridiculous how underused she is. She has an amazing voice and was by far the best on X Factor when they were soloists.

 

I'm glad they've finally sorting out the pre-order situation with Bo$$ and Sledgehammer, but it's taken them so long to do it! I think Bo$$ will be a better choice in making them unique and selling them to an audience with no knowledge of them.

I completely agree, there's no point introducing a new girlband who, as many have pointed out, are likely to make a tiny splash (if that) are just doing a song that any of your Saturdays etc's can do. So they aswell market them with something that sets them apart, this also gives them more of an opportunity to put on a performance to try and ensure people aren't bored by this 'who???' band.

I don't see how this is a good decision at all, this song flopped in the US and is very geared towards that market (especially with the terms in the lyrics which aren't even used in the UK). What hope does it have of even making a small impression here?

 

Not that I'm saying 'Sledgehammer' is a guaranteed smash either, but it surely has more hit potential and the fact it's set to outperform 'Bo$$' in the US says it all. Plus it could show what they're more capable of vocally...

Either way it's bound to get people talking, hoping for maybe a xTra performance of Sledgehammer.

I hope they don't wear pvc and do the whole $l*t dropping thing on the stage. Knowing the British public it'll get complaints for being too raunchy...
