Toya is of course beyond fab, she's reminding me a bit of early Gina with her "he isn't even worth the water" etc. comments :wub: Christopher is so cute too, he's just lovely and seems like a really genuine guy who's unfortunately being drowned out a bit, you could really see the sadness on his face when Helen tore into him :( Jale, Matthew and Mark really shone tonight, the latter falls only because of those above him being so great, Matthew especially seriously impressed me tonight and I love how Jale just doesn't give a shit when she handles things. Kim is slipping as she does nothing at all lately. Ashleigh seriously needs to lighten up and get a backbone but her little comments promising to "tear shit up" always crack me up, especially tonight in the same highlights show as her shitting herself over nominations being revealed! Same goes for Danielle, she is completely fake but there's so much unintentional hilarity. Chris is still giving me nothing, and Winsron has really slipped as I don't like how he's becoming. Can't stand anyone below that but Helen and Ash are just completely insufferable, I've made my feelings known enough :lol: honestly though, I can't remember a pair that riled me so much for AGES, they're definitely among the absolute worst.

Of course, Matthew's comment was completely light-hearted. Everybody in that scenario was laughing and joking away, weren't they? He was just as bad as her tonight. And although we can see what goes on in the house, televisions haven't quite gotten to the technologically advanced stage where we can smell people, so there may or may not have been truth to what Helen was saying *.*

So if Matthew was "just as bad as her", then what exactly is it that is keeping Helen as a permanent fixture at #1 while Matthew takes a 3-11 dive? :unsure: What redeeming features does she have? I don't believe Helen was bad at all in tonight's episode, but putting it in the context of the constant "omg she's vile!111111111111111111!1!11!!!!!!!!!!!!" comments on here, he could easily come off just as bad at the end of that whole debacle. Maybe you didn't see my post or it wasn't clear enough, but I did list numerous reasons in one of my above posts that makes Helen differ a lot (in a positive way) from the other housemates.

She spoke to people about her beef with Jale, and she certainly made Jale aware of how she felt. Bitching is inevitable in a confined, high-stress environment with differing personalities and continual mind games. It's human nature. Helen's regular rude (at best) and abusive (at worst) public outbursts are not - they are indicative of a very unpleasant individual.

 

However, I will say that she's definitely at her worst when drinking and tends to readily accept blame and apologise on reflection (even if the motivation for this is arguably more to do with being on a reality TV show than genuine remorse).

Calum, I really wouldn't consider Helen airing her (seemingly endless) grievances directly with numerous housemates as being something to commend. At least, not the way she goes about it. She is always shockingly rude and confrontational in her approach. There are ways and means of saying things if you disagree with somebody, but Helen constantly goes for the jugular and resorts to ranting with vile language & insult throwing. This is essentially why she is so disliked by almost everyone, because she can just be so bloody nasty - it's a highly immature way of going on for someone of her age. Her behaviour is rarely justifiable, if ever. There's very good reasons why she's constantly been called to the diary room and been officially warned on two occasions. I'd say her behaviour in some cases is factually indefensible, because you just don't behave in that way if you're a halfway decent person. You just don't.

 

Unlike Helen, Ashleigh is not going out of her way to make anybody in the house feel bad about themselves. Ok, so bitching behind people's backs isn't a great quality, but they've all been doing that in the house - probably to remain sane. She most likely considers it best to not confront Helen, because quite frankly would she get anywhere with Helen if she decided to make her aware that she disliked her? What would be the point in doing that, from Ashleigh's perspective? Is it worth her energy to create that situation, when she potentially has to live with Helen for many more weeks? I'd imagine the answer is no!

Slug is something that might very much refer to Jale's appearance, and while rat and snake aren't very nice words to call someone, they don't have anything to do with it. And only a f***ing disgusting person would comment on someone's appearance. If you find something to argue against here then I really don't know what to think.

Ok Toya is amazing I'm gonna be fuming if/when she leaves tonight :angry: Jale is still very likeable but she needs to do more, liking Matthew more after sticking up for himself against the repugnant Helen, Mark is becoming more and more likeable and funny but he just needs to keep away from her altogether, Ashleigh can be a bit two faced but I still like her, Chris is decent but not doing much, Winston is still pretty nice but with the wrong crowd, Kimberly has so much potential but again with the wrong crowd, Christopher is not doing much for me either way tbh, Danielle is just fake and even though she isn't annoying me now I just can't get past her facade, Marlon, Stephen and Ash are all very awful tbh, not sure who I like least. Helen is quite possibly one of my most hated housemates of all time, cannot cope with her every week until the final :cry:
