Seems a bit quieter this morning, but I would guess on itunes it will overtake Ed by 5pm today and overtake Ella by 5pm tomorrow.

Beating Ella to #1 in the BBC Chart will need TV playing it or the Sun or like promoting it, but it is possible...

There's no way on earth Rik Mayall would come close to Ella this week.

Is no one else expecting this campaign to suddenly drop by about Friday, the way so many other have?

I hope you are right!, but given the bandwagon rolling, which will increase a lot if it takes iTunes #1 and v.large potential audience it's possible... One play on ITV tonight could be a game changer, no pun intended....

 

If Riks at 11 from yesterdays sales hes on to sell arounf 25k so he would need some boost to beat Ella lol!

I don't expect it to, it's not like a normal campaign that after an initial surge naturally runs out of steam. The increasing excitement as England's game nears will keep it going. Should England win or at least draw, there will be another big boost, though of couse by then it will be Sunday morning and would count for next weeks' chart.
