The album is just so good, Lights On, Pendulum, Numbers, Closer awesome, not even a bad track on the album after my first listen :wub:

BNM'd by p4k. 8.8 seems a bit LOW for #2 album of the year though :angry:

'One Time' is out there. It is gorgeous but I see why it wasn't included on the album.

Getting into Give Up at the moment, sad I can't hear the album for two more days..

got me tickets for her new tour this morning, was annoyed to miss her the other week so glad she's back around so soon! the album is probably my fave so far this year, so inventive and bewitching.

Still can't get over Pendulum. That last minute! Song of the year.

Just bought the album yesterday and from what I heard, it's absolutely amazing :cheer:

 

Except for 'Preface', I generally loved everyone of them. Highlights definitely are Two Weeks and Lights On (loved the latter's chorus) :wub:

This has been a tough one for me. I've never really gotten into Two Weeks at all as objectively good as it is, but what I've heard from the album has been fantastic. She deserves her place as the critical darling of summer 2014.

This is still utterly incredible. Pendulum randomly gave me goosebumps this morning. Iamamiwhoamiwho?~~ [loljk jonna dont kill me]

 

Anyone heard this, I think it's gorgeous and a really different take but most of the commenters seem to disagree :(

It sounds like it could be part of her album! Really made it her own there. I think most of the commentators don't understand that she's an indie artist.

Here's a live performance of Video Girl too. She looks so fierce when performing, work those eyebrows too gurl.

 

 

This album is crazy good. Like Grimes gone slightly more minimalistic. 'Hours' is my fave at the moment, but that could change as I really enjoy every track. The production is interesting as hell. I enjoy that kind of subtlety in music. It's so sort of 'off' and wrong that makes it so so right. If that makes sense.

I am very much in love with the album. It's so sensual/sexual/aggressive without once being crass or vulgar.

 

I WANT TO MAKE LOVE LISTENING TO 'LIGHTS ON', anyone?? :mellow:

 

 

I second you on that.... such a beautifully crafted track! Just brought the album now, FKA you have my full attention!

 

Anyone else think she will smash and grab the Mercury prize award and we'll end up seeing Damon Albarn sobbing away in the corner?

 

Also had no idea that she was dating Robert Pattinson, until my mate told me the other day!

^^ I just saw that performance of FKA Twigs I wasn't expecting her to appear just got round to see the Tues edition, amazing performance from her. I was expecting BANKS to perform as well, apparently she was unwell. I'm guessing FKA Twigs is performing tonight as well, not shown on the listing of artists to perform tonight.

It's great to see the album rise due to the Mercury Prize shortlisting :wub: I really want it to do as much good to this as it did to alt-j

I hope the next single is better for selling the album. I'm hoping for Give Up or Lights On. This should make silver at least.
