I'm actually not completely ruling out a top 10 for Demi considering how well it is holding up so far. She should be able to get to #12 as she is very close according to Kworb, then considering that 2 Ed Sheeran songs ahead of her ('Afire Love' and 'Don't') are both ineligible, that would put Demi at #10. Obviously this doesn't include any combined versions that will benefit 'All Of Me' for example, but you never know!

It's been over 48 hours and Demi (Neon Lights) is yet to get a red or white update!

A second version of Ghost is at 119 and is higher than the 3rd version of Don't Stop. Ooh this is going to be an exciting battle for the #1 for a change instead of being all predictable like most weeks.

 

Definitely preferring Ella to retain the no.1 though.

Yeah they annoy me as well. Also, I'm a bit disappointed in Ed and his team for their teeny bopper/boyband-esque release strategy with the massively delayed 'Sing' release and all these instant grats. From a marketing point of view, I think it's all unnecessarily cautious and they've failed to properly consider his main demographic and how they'd react to being 'teased' (for want of a better word!) for so long. I really think he could have pulled off a Beyoncé with ease but it seems the label was/is after hit singles and a massive first week. Even a release more similar to 'Ghost Stories' would be much more preferable.

It's worth noticing that 'Sing' is now down to 0.46 on Kworb, Ella just keeps extending that lead!

It's pretty early to tell for Neon Jungle yet, although this is a pretty risky single to release the album off the back of.

 

Hoping it does well though, I love it.
