Third one out is Gaga's latest single "G.U.Y," and most probably the final single from her 3rd album "Artpop". The title stands for Girl Under You and despite an adventurous music video it was panned by critics and bombed on the charts, peaking at #76 in the USA and #115 in the UK (her lowest peaks to date) and didn't fair much better anywhere else, #47 on Canada, 88 in Australia and #92 in France.

Marry the Night and Edge of Glory are so far above her usual standard it's unreal. They are fantastic, perfect pop moments that are actually deep and credible, in theme, execution, melody, instrumental and lyrics. They are her crown jewels.

 

 

Love Game's gotta be next. After that, Do What You Want.

It's unbelievable quality. If this or Edge of Glory had been released as first single, with the other being second, the album and singles would have smashed, she'd have kept, nay, increased her credibility and would have two songs of unbelievable quality as classics. She'd be remembered for those two songs if ONLY SHE'D RELEASED THEM FIRST!! It would have turned her whole career around.
