Tracks from Clean Bandit, Pharrell Williams, Pitbull and John Legend are among the UK’s most streamed songs of 2014 so far.

Clean Bandit’s Rather Be is the most streamed song of 2014 so far, the Official Charts Company can confirm. The track, which also features Jess Glynne, has been streamed more than 24 million times on services such as Spotify, Deezer, Napster and O2 Tracks, among others, since it was released back in January.

Rather Be replaces Pharrell Williams’s Happy (Number 2 with 23 million streams this year) at the top of the year to date chart.

Timber by Pitbull and Ke$ha holds firm at Number 3 for the second quarter in a row with 17.4 million streams so far this year, while John Legend’s All Of Me (17.2 million streams) climbs 32 places from 36 to Number 4, quarter on quarter.

The Top 5 is completed by Katy Perry’s Dark Horse FT Juicy J, which climbs three places from Number 8 to Number 5 with 14.8 million streams, year to date.

While he may have lost out on the top spot, Pharrell Williams appears on the most songs in the Top 40 (three). In addition to Happy, he also features on Get Lucky with Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers (Number 39 with 6.4 million streams) and Blurred Lines with Robin Thicke and TI (Number 40 with 6.3 million streams).

Katy Perry appears on two tracks (Dark Horse at Number 5, and Roar at 34), as do Bastille (Pompeii is at 8 and Of The Night is at 31), Avicii (Hey Brother is at 9 and Wake Me Up with Aloe Blacc is at 16), Imagine Dragons (Demons is at 26 and Radioactive is at 31), and Aloe Blacc (Wake Me Up and The Man is at 27).

Daniel Lane clearly can't count, Avicii has 3 entries in that list too! :heehee:

Why do the OCC never credit French Montana on Feelin' Myself anymore? This is the 2nd time I've seen them do this.

The list is pretty much what I expected tbh.

So that increases their total 'sales' by about 25%

I don't even understand why Pompeii is still being streamed so much.
