I do love her first two albums, shame the "Kylie" didn't make top 10 in this rate, still one of my alltime faves of hers, I love the singles and the tracks "Turn It Into Love" which should have been released in the USA instead of "It's No Secret" which I do also like and other tracks "I'll Still Be Loving You" and "Love At First Sight" which are really cheesy and fun.

"Enjoy Yourself" okay not as strong as her debut but I still love the singles as well as "I'm Over Dreaming (Over You)" and the title track "Enjoy Yourself". Lastly not surprised at "Body Language" finishing that low, but thought it would have had a better average but oh well, still an okay album, but not one of my faves though and one that I rarely go back to.

I've never understood the "Kylie" album cover. Is she wearing a hat or is her hair in a perm and poking through a hat thing with a hole in it? It's such an iconic look, nevertheless.

Narrowly missing out on a Top 10 position on our list is the first album released by Kylie when she was signed to DeConstruction. This is a very different sound to Kylie, alot
more mature and dance orientated, with some very unexpected vocals on it. This album is a pretty long one, none of the main album songs are under 4 minutes, so it takes a while
to get through, but it really doesn't feel that long since the album is so wonderfully crafted. Who can hate on the album that gave us the wonderous Confide In Me? That intro is just
stunning. Some of Kylie's best ballads can be found here; Dangerous Game, Confide In Me and the lush Automatic Love, which, I believe is all about Kylie having an affair with a PC
"I don't feel you enter in my main menu, but every time I touch the key the screen is showing you" Spike Jonez obviously stole the idea for Her from that song.
The album cover is also one of my favourite from Kylie's albums, so simple, yet so seductive, like something from an office based porno. Actually a bit gutted this is so low,
it deserves to be much higher in this list.
I think the length of songs proves a disadvantage for me - the songs aren't strong enough to last so long so perhaps I may enjoy the album a little more if they were edited down to 3 or 4 minutes. That said, 'Confide in Me' and 'Put Yourself in My Place' do work as longer tracks, mainly because of the fact they are strong enough and are considered flawless singles among many.

Where has the love gone and Fallin' are so long that makes perfect music to be played in the department store. Apart from that, it's one of the albums that I revisit from time to time.

She should've re-recorded Dangerous Game for the Abbey Road, it would be perfect.

I do love that album, but as RBM said 'Falling' is coma inducing and 'Time Will Pass You By' is so irritating.

The rest though.

Alas, Kylie's latest album fails to slay this rate as it deserves. People here seem quick to criticise but those certain few who keep banging on about how this sound doesn't work for
Kylie since she is now past it never seem to suggest ways in which to change things, hmm. OH WELL.
This is a decent album IMO, has everything you need in a Kylie album really; fun pop songs, sex references, some stirring ballads and even Enrique Iglesias thrown in for good measure.
Sure, it's underperformed and the singles aren't really doing, well, anything, but since when was success more important than the actual album and anyone who lets that affect their
opinions on an album are a bit silly really.
The album has BELLS on it for goodness sake, God bless Sia for bringing them and SEXERCISE to our lives. Yep, Sia is the one responsible for Sexercise, amaze. Obviously including
Golden Boy, Crystallize and Waiting 4 The Sun woulda been nice, and wiping I Was Gonna Cancel from the world wouldn't go a miss either.

'Kylie Minogue' is definitely her best album. A height she probably won't ever reach again.

'Where Is the Feeling?' (both album and single version)

'Where Has the Love Gone?'

'Falling'

 all amazing songs.

I was a little disappointed when listening to the previews of Kiss Me Once, especially when we had 'Skirt' () as a buzz single and were told to expect songs "perfect for the treadmill" (i.e. 'Skirt'-esque songs). We were shown something a little different with the likes of 'Sexercise', 'Feels So Good' and, as much as many dislike it, 'I Was Gonna Cancel' as well as classic Kylie pop, which makes a great album, but still I do think it could have been better.

I find Body Language hard to get into apart from the singles (Chocolate is one of her very best)

Oh and I quite like 'Sweet Music' Regina :P

I do actually like her deconstruction era albums, but the "Kylie Minogue" album is much much stronger, but the other one "IP" just wasn't for me, but "KM" I still love the singles Confide In Me and Put Yourself In My Place, and other tracks I love are Dangerous Game, If I Was Your Lover, Automatic Love and Falling, still a great album and has aged really well.

Kiss Me Once, wow I was the only one who gave it a 10, I think's it's a great Kylie album, okay it may not be a classic but I do like the track Into The Blue, Sexy Love, Sexercise, If Only, Les Sex and Fine. Still Crystalize and Golden Boy should be on there I totally agree with that.

Kylie's last abum for PWL and the second best album from that era in our countdown appears in at a respectable #9. The album contained every one of Kylie's PWL singles (including
Japan only single Turn It Into Love) and 3 new songs; the often overlooked What Kind Of Fool, the amaze cover of Celebration and the charming ballad Where In The World? None
of these songs were that revolutionary and were more inkeeping with early PWL Kylie, but as songs for a GH, it made sense to record songs more similar to the most successful
part of her time there.
The album was another UK #1 for Kylie and the collection went Platinum. Woo. Once again Niall Minogue gave this a 10,
one might wonder if he just blindly gives out high scores willy nilly just because it's Kylie.

Kiss me Once higher than Enjoy Yourself is annoying but the have spoken. If the Ultimate Kylie was not released i would have scored the original greatest hits higher, where in the world was a lovely bonus track to that album and also on its release i adored the album cover.

While Kiss Me Once made the top 10 i am relieved it made no higher than number 10.

I think what makes Kylie's first greatest hits collection so good is that it includes all her singles in chronological order which allows us to see how she has developed as an artist throughout her time with PWL: we have bubblegum pop with Kylie and Enjoy Yourself, more sexy and dance-orientated music with Rhythm of Love and then a more mature side in the Let's Get to It era with 'If You Were With Me Now' and 'Finer Feelings'.

'What Kind of Fool' and 'Celebration' do take a step back but they do reflect her PWL days very well (the former is particularly a gem and Kylie looks rather hot in the video).

Second highest compilation album on the rate, woo.
The album was released as part of the K25 celebrations and is an album of acoustic, orchestral and general re-workings of some of her best known songs. Some of the songs like
Confide In Me and Finer Feelings didn't sound too different, but others, like Locomotion and that DIRE version of Slow are vastly different to their originals. We also finally got a
studio version of the gorgeous Flower, a song that debuted on the X tour but never made it onto the album, more on that whole debacle later. As with most of the albums, we got
Niall Minogue throwing out 10's like they were going out of fashion and pippa playing the hard mistress, not daring to use the right hand side of her number line on her keyboard.
This is a lovely little collection and really shows off not only Kylie's lovely voice but also how deep and often heartbreaking some of her lyrics really are. Taking away the 80's
production from some of her PWL singles makes them the perfect songs to slit your wrists too.

That's a horrible analogy!

The Abbey Road Sessions was a lovely treat to close the K25 celebrations. The "tweet to unlock" reworks of 'Finer Feelings' and 'On a Night Like This' were amazing and got me very excited to hear more. Those two remained my two of my favourites, along with 'All the Lovers', 'The Loco-motion', 'Never Too Late' and of course 'Flower'. There'a a couple of naff ones but for the majority they were excellent reworkings; would also be nice if Kylie were to sing some of these versions on her tour this year.

All my rates are my honest opinion, I don't just chuck out 10's coz it's Kylie, that is my honest opinion, as I do love her early stuff and most of her recent
