great longevity for this, was expecting it to drop a lot faster

if only it was Million Pound Girl or Antenna that was having this kind of longevity. Both are much better imo.

 

good to see fka twigs actually doing something with this single, I'm loving the recent efforts from indie ladies (the new singles from Jessie Ware, fka twigs, Grimes and Banks are brilliant)

If that Starstruck Backing Tracks cover of Crazy Stupid Love wasn't #89 on iTunes the original would probably be on an even footing with Rude.

Thought Jess would have started dropping (or at least fallen well behind Ella) by now, surprised but very pleased to see her finally overtaking if probably only for a short while. Hopefully she should have top 5 in the bag for this week.

I can definitely still see Cheryl debuting at No.1, regardless of Magic's gains in the last week. I can see it zooming ahead on the Sunday as Cheryl's the sort of act with a big enough fanbase/media presence to storm ahead to a commanding lead quite quickly.

 

Magic will definitely catch up by midweek but I'm not sure if it'll be quick enough to get the No.1 over Cheryl as it's the sort of song that people are more likely to become aware of over time. It'll be in the top ten for months, whereas Cheryl will get 3 or 4 weeks max in the top ten probably.

60. Second Avenue - Rude

This doesn't really count as a fake version, does it :o It's a legitimate cover (of Magic!), Second Avenue even have a video of it on YouTube. I'm surprised no one has mentioned how high it is!

'Antenna' had a similar run to 'Dangerous Love' thus far.

'Dangerous Love' has spent its first 7 weeks higher than the 5th week of 'Antenna'. I could see it falling behind soon though.

Theres no proper evidence for that most likely alot of the fakes were downloaded by mistake and alot more propbabaly went to a streaming sight or illegal download site to get the song and are fed up waiting for a release!

someone make it stop. please :( it's really not that good - I want another Right Here or Wet from her.

I don't dislike Your Love, it's just kinda THERE and leaves no real impact on me. Disappointing from Nicole, she's capable of SO much more (see: most Pussycat Dolls singles, Poison and Don't Hold Your Breath).

I think 'Your Love' is amazing, and it's pretty unique as well.

 

Her third best for me behind 'Poison' and 'Don't Hold Your Breath'. She's had such an immaculate singles discography since 'Poison'. :wub:
