Posted July 8, 201411 yr In Ashleighs upcoming departure killing the series off for good, I think it would be good to reflect on past evictions that have killed off a series somewhat. I would say the biggest losses were; 7 - Nikki ... It still doesnt make sense, she was one of the faves! It didnt matter too much in the long run but the period between her leaving and going back in was fairly boring. 8 - Charley, was almost completely unwatchable after she left. There was seriously nothing left there imo. 10 - Noirin ... A controversial choice maybe, but I remember it being fairly dull after she left and she brang the most drama to the table easily. 12 - Rebeckah - The only bitch of the series going just made it all far too nicey nice and dull. 15 - Toya, I think this was the turning point whether it was going to be an AMAZING series or a TERRIBLE one. (p.s soz for all the topics, bored dot com)
July 8, 201411 yr ANOUSHKA. Series 4. The only interesting person in there and she was evicted in Week one... downhill from there.
July 8, 201411 yr Rebeckah and Toya/Matthew are the only evictions I'd say really killed a series, Nikki's was the most annoyed I've ever been at an eviction easily but that series was so good anyway.
July 8, 201411 yr Author I think Sallie would have been just like Helen in her series. Would not have mattered anyhow, Gina would have shot her right down the whole time she was there anyway - "SKIDMARK OF SOCIETY" compared to the hilarious and witty comeback of "You should get a tattoo on your face".
July 9, 201411 yr 10 - Noirin ... A controversial choice maybe, but I remember it being fairly dull after she left and she brang the most drama to the table easily. 12 - Rebeckah - The only bitch of the series going just made it all far too nicey nice and dull. lol bring/brang/brung :kink: Rebeckah WHO Aaron RULED the series after she left and it was pretty fabulous and in no way dull and NICE HA. (Have we even watched the same series??! It had Anton! COME AWN!)
July 9, 201411 yr Thank you Pavel :D. I was beginning to think I was the only one who liked that series and found the Aaron/Faye storyline interesting and genuine. Anton made a great villain and Aaron, Faye, Harry, Alex and Maisy were top-notch housemates. The others were decent apart from Rebeckah, whose immense narcissism outweighed her entertainment value for me (but of course she was a loud, fabulous female so she must have been the star of the series :P)
July 9, 201411 yr Pretty much all the people you named Ryan I would say ponteially Ashleigh as well if she goes Friday ! :(

How is she the highlight of the series oops Oh and it's a shame Mark walked - he was great and would've definitely won. :(
July 9, 201411 yr Anton was a great villain indeed but I remember hating him SO much! Really don't remember what Rebeckah even did apart from being liked by Aden lmao. How is she the highlight of the series oops Oh and it's a shame Mark walked - he was great and would've definitely won. :( I sort of loved to hate Anton so he was bearable for me. There was a lot of comedy/cringe value to him and his sidekick Aden and their general ineptness. It was also hilarious when he fell for the 'your song has hit #1 in the charts since you've been in the house' prank from BB . Rebeckah just had zero self-awareness and took no responsibility for anything, particularly in arguments with Heaven and in her relationship with Aden. Forgot about Mark actually. He was good but it was really interesting that he basically admitted that he walked purely because he felt drained from trying to be funny/entertaining and had nothing more to give. He just went in to play the clown and ran out of ideas, which was a bit of a weird approach to the whole thing. I would have liked to see him stay and see a different side to him.
July 9, 201411 yr Author I cant say I actually LIKED Rebeckah, I just thought she made for a good villain. I just noticed that at the point she left it all became a little bland personally.
July 9, 201411 yr ^ Fair enough :P. I agree to an extent that she made a good villain and her eviction message to the housemates was hilarious in its bitchiness! To go back on topic, I can't remember ever feeling a series was dead, dynamics-wise, after an eviction like I do with the possibility of Ashleigh going. There are housemates I thought went too soon but not to the extent where I struggled to root for anyone else left in there. I guess Noirin is a good example as she was by far my favourite up to that point (not to say I agreed with everything she did though) and the rest weren't that likable/supportable IMO - Siavash was entertaining but a bit wishy-washy, Marcus had great moments but I didn't like his arrogance, Bea became unbearable, Charlie was so false, Sophie was fine but played up the ditzy thing too much and the rest didn't really interest me at all. Also, this probably won't be popular but I thought last year's series really suffered after Hazel's eviction. Gina and Dexter were the only interesting ones left for me and I didn't particularly like either of them as people. Charlie was nice enough I guess but had such a weak character that she was frustrating to watch. The rest were too bland (although I remember sometimes liking Joe but never Jack I think?). The quadruple eviction before the final kind of killed series 11. It got rid of Corin and John-James who were big characters and the final had nobody I particularly liked in it. Anyway, I really hope Ashleigh miraculously stays as Danielle, Winston, Chris, Jale (and Kimberly and Mark at a push) are the only ones left that I semi-like right now :(. Nobody is a definite favourite though. Edited July 9, 201411 yr by Noahspike
July 11, 201411 yr All Seasons, Worst Evictions: 3 - Alison (Didn't kill the season, but I think she could have made the season a little more lively, this was a pretty flawless season I will admit) 4 - Anouska (Season was dead after this) 5 - Emma (Again, flawless season, but I think she was unfairly ejected) 6 - Sam (Flawless season, but I would have liked to have seen Sam last longer, I don't get the hate?) 7 - Nikki v.1 (Flawless season, but I wish Nikki didn't get evicted and come back and be such a sour grape. She would have been an amazing winner over Pete) 8 - Nicky (Sure, you can move it ahead a week and say Charlie, but I loved Nicky and the season went downhill when she left) 9 - Dale/Stuart Combo (The only good thing about this season was the good looking men, once they left, all you had to root for was Sara/Lisa) 10 - Nothing really stands out for me 11 - Corin (Should have won really) 12 - Harry (Didn't kill the season, but I enjoyed Harry. Everything up to this point was pretty stellar) 13 - Lauren (Once I knew she was going, I tuned out) 14 - Dan (More or less because of the twist and it being rigged, but really good season, it stayed a float after he left) 15 - Toya (I think from this point out, we're going to have shit evictions)
