Well finally after coming close in quite a few rounds, we finally say goodbye to "Born This Way", after just about getting saved by last minute voters in round 5, it seemed that nothing could save it this time, gaining 10 votes, the same as it did last time. "Do What You Want" was just 1 vote behind with 9 so that will probably go next, "Applause" gained 6, it's most since round 4, "Judas" had 4 votes, while "Just Dance" gained 3 "Alejandro" and "The Edge Of Glory" each gained 2, and "Paparazzi", "Bad Romance" and "Telephone" got 1. 2Pokerface" was the only one safe in the last round getting no votes, and has mainly been the most popular throughout each round getting no more than 1 in previous rounds. But honestly I am surprised that "Born This Way" didn't make the final 10, I thought that it was more popular than this, but Buzzjack" have spoken, and also that album's era's singles are dropping like flies, with 3 out of the 5 have gone out already, leaving just 2 left. The only album era that have been safe so far is "The Fame Monster" era, which still has 3 intact, But who knows what could happen in the next round.

Released in February 2011 as the lead single from the album of the same name, following the massive success of her previous "The Fame/Monster" album, so there was a lot to prove, and of course a lot of heavy hype and promotion followed suit. The song itself is about freedom and inspired by the 90's empowering music for women and the gay community and the song was the first one written and recorded for the album and even sung a few lines when she was at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards (accepting an award for Video of the year for "Bad Romance") which of course drove fans wild, and of course all the hype paid off as it became a massive success worldwide, becoming her 3rd US #1 and topping the charts in many many countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Dutch, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, South Korea, Sweden and Swiss. While hitting top 5 or 10 mostly everywhere else, including the UK where it reached a peak of #3 which was seen as a disappointment after her last album had 4 #1's , but managed to sell over 600,000 copies and earning a Platinum disc, her 5th in total and final to date.

HALLELUJAH! After five rounds I can finally vote for something else! :lol: Tough, but I'm gonna go with Just Dance. Close between that and Alejandro for me.
